I have looked at the suggested fixes on the website and nothing works. WHY is there not an option to just gift sub time directly to a friend? WHY can we not give them blizzard balance as a gift? I know its because my money is “worth less” but I’m completely fine with paying more to gift them the same thing! Take my money blizzard, this is so annoying and mind boggling and it’s not just Blizzard that does this stupid money gate thing.
Any suggestions on how to give him game time welcomed.
Subscriptions cannot be gifted, period. No matter who wants to do so. Have you tried game time?
And while it isn’t something that Customer Support or Service decided nor can thoroughly explain, gifting balance to someone that doesn’t use the same currency you do is just something that is. I’m willing to bet it all boils down to local currency laws, similar to how character services must all be done from the character select screen, now.
It isn’t, technically-- not really. Like Eilis said, from the main page of the shop, click the game you want to buy for, and then from the navigation bar under the banner at the top of the following page, you’ll want to click Game Services. It’ll take you right to Game Time.
It sounds like you were looking under the subscription section instead of just game time. It’s a common question to be honest That’s likely why you got 3 replies so quickly too!
I’ve looked under every section and going back to the shop there also is no game-time option under services even now, I don’t know if my end of the shop is bugged or whatever, or if it doesn’t show up because I’m already on a sub myself but I needed the link you provided to access the page.
That’s odd as it should be showing up (I’m on a sub too). For me, it’s between the WoW Classic Character Transfer and Guild Services. I’d take a screenshot, but I’m not on a good device for that right now.
Yeah it just doesn’t show up for me, not sure why but honestly don’t care I got it bought now and impatiently waiting on the email to give him the code or whatever.
