I was thinking about making a twink. How are they doing this xpac? Also what brackets/classes/specs are doing well? I’ve heard alot of people talk about lvl 39.
More balanced than max level most of the time.

I am loving the 80’s bracket!
It is very balanced and the games have been fantastic.
We had at least 3 known twinks yesterday on our team, and we got graveyard locked, but it was still fun as fel fighting back!
Best BG I have ever been graveyard locked in.
It was great fun trying to fight back, and we did eventually push them back and regroup.
I am glad I decided to give twinking a try.
I still get my fair share of beat down, though lol.

It is way more fun than I could have ever imagined.
Even if we are the ones getting annihilated, it’s still fun.
I wish I could find a horde and alliance 80’s bracket twink community to join.
I have a few friends, but their playtime is limited, so I usually queue alone.
I would love to be someone’s pocket healer lol.
Start one, I’m sure @Myninja and myself would join although I haven’t worked on my 89 much. currently at 88 though so still levelling.

I’m pretty quiet in game, more so than lately.
I actually had a few people unfriend me when I started working on my alliance healer, and got called a “twinking $$$hat” last night by a friend who saw me in a BG on my horde twink healer.
The hate is real, sheesh.

I found twinking to be very boring after a couple of months. I had multiple 119’s that were really decked out (Ret with a 333 weapon and 5 other 333-343 pieces, etc.) and it was just a slaughterfest unless I ran into a twink premade. So then i had to join a twink community and run premades. Which then made every BG even more of an absolute slaugherfest. Every once in a while (like 1 BG out of 20) we’d run into another evenly matched twink group and have a decent fight but those were very few and far between.
Basically the whole experience was pretty toxic as I know I ruined a lot of player’s experiences in BG’s by just deleting their characters with a tap of my finger. It actually started making me a worse player as well as everything was so easy because of my massive gear advantage.
Overall I’d never recommend twinking to anyone, and fully support Blizzard’s initial plan to disable turning off XP for 110 and above even though i was adamantly against it initially. It’s not good for the long term health of the game and I’d recommend you stay away from participating in it.

I bet, when I was lvling inscription I must have spent 40k on herbs because I am too lazy to do that myself.
Eng/bs is one thing but pass on inscription and alchemy.

30-39 is definitely the most active bracket, but 10-19, 20-29 and 40-49 are also very popular. Everything above that (with the exception of 111-119) isn’t really much of a thing anymore, even 70-79 seems to be pretty quiet. Though this is mostly due to 7.3.5 re-itemizing all vanilla quest and dungeon gear and massively buffing it. Old raid gear however was left alone, and is now actually worse than dungeon drops funnily enough.
The amount of level 39 casters I see running around with that damn dagger tho.
Nothing like making the best in slot, the most accessible epic for lower levels.

It def is the best for casters but the proc’s damage is nothing compared to Sul’Thraze. 49 Fury warrs with that and scepter are unstoppable.
Sulthraze was recently nerfed.
Dagger + Scepter + Ramstein’s getting adjusted on PTR.
You can compare them on Wowhead, it was nicely done.
Oh interesting. It’s not often Blizz nerfs low level gear because of bgs/twinks.
Sul needed it tho. I was getting hit for 50-60% of my health from one proc (dmg+dot ticks) on that beast.
Every low level proc damage item/weapon was adjusted for 8.1.5.
Elemental Force, Incendiary Ammo were also adjusted.
