I’ve linked video’s on my lvl 26 Hunter 3 shotting players. No twink gear I’m still wearing mostly lvl 20 gear.
The point before someone chimes in, is class balance. You don’t need gear to dominate. Twinks is just an easy excuse.

If they’re cheating, report them.
The point I was making was that not everyone is cheating. There are reasons to use the XP guy that have nothing to do with exploiting.

That’s a distraction, not ‘the point.’
If I said that class balance isn’t the problem, premades and healer count imbalances are the problem, you probably wouldn’t accept that.
More than one thing can be a problem.

That’s true. And on the flip side, a lot of people fail to count twinks among the problems that PvP had/has and point to other things instead rather than in addition.
Actually, a lot of us were saying there were other ways (balancing gear/templates of some sort) rather than outright removal of a group of people. Some of us also said that enchanted heirlooms on OP classes would take over, and they have.

No, it’s the point before you attempt to distract from it.
Players are claiming to be one shot, that’s what I’m replying to.
Premades and healer imbalance are issues, but aren’t relevant to a one vs one discussion.
I mean, yeah. Some people admitted that twinks needed to be toned down and some insisted that they weren’t a problem because ‘this is an MMO, get over it.’
@Floyln Idk what you’re trying to say. Twinks are contributing to one shots and OP classes are contributing to one shots. They’re both ‘the point’ among other ‘points.’
I don’t need an OP spec to dominate either. I can twink just about any spec that’s widely considered underperforming and still dominate with it.
I mean, if you’re a competent player sure. Common misconception is that gear/enchants will carry bad players and that’s just super inaccurate in most cases.

I mean I understand the ninja change and the fact that queues aren’t popping for twinks so they probably figure why not exploit?
The issue is that this hack is widely being used infecting many brackets of play.
A whole team with XP on that’s undergeared is forced to be assaulted by a team with in some cases multiple twinks. It’s a worse situation than before. At least there was a chance for both teams to be populated with twinks before. Now it’s just a one sided slaughter that isn’t being fixed or even taken seriously it seems.

How much proof do you need? I was in 8-10 game with those players and they don’t gain a single level? After each BG they are all at the XP eliminator.

You can’t prove their exploiting because you’re not Blizzard. All you know is they’re in your BG more than once.
Does it even cross your mind you could be wrong?
Perhaps that why you shouldn’t name and shame?
Instead send their names to the e-mail I linked 15 times already and right click report them for cheating. Blizzard will handle it.

I agree with a template/gear balancing as well.
We all know the only reason the twinks are using this exploit is because they all sit for hours and hours and no XP off BG queues pop. Blizz must have broken ONLY the XP off queues. It really sucks for them having to queue into the XP on brackets and farm leveling players, but what are they supposed to do when their queues are obviously broken.

There are options. Either gather your friends and start war games like people did the last time separation occurred, work on your main or move onto another MMO. The last one seems harsh but it has to be said. If there is nothing left about the game that you enjoy, it’s time to find something else. Sitting in a forum being derogatory isn’t going to make anything better in the way you hope.
Last time separation occurred they all claimed they were quitting the game. At least till the exploit was widely known. Oddly enough they still posted on the forums and still are.

I know, I was around for both. Both times that separation occurred, all the ones who do it for all the stereotypical reasons threatened to quit, etc. For days, we heard there was going to be this huge mass unsub. Then once someone discovers something like this, they crawl out from under the bridge. I’ve counted at least 4 in this thread alone.
It’ll all pass just as it did last time. Let them pout and get it out of their system.

There’s really not much reason for them not to exploit. Only the worst offenses, such as blatant hacking get permabans anymore. Even obvious botters and exploiters normally only receive a temporary suspension. Even if they get suspended, what happens? They go play Fortnite or Apex Legends for a month and come back just in time for 8.2 or whatever.
