Rogues own shadow priests
Depends on how they play, and if they got the opener or not. Cloak isnât a thing. Hell since fear is so strong in classic, depending on the location they can just scream/MC you off a cliff.

Not in vanilla, they didnât. Rogues, Rets and Ferals were free HKs to me.
The general public arenât walking around with restorative potions. As good as devouring plague is⌠you should be saving it for a non-cleansing target. That being said you can wait to use it during a fear or a silence.

Or the jungle remedy from stv which are easy to farm.
Most people donât walk around with those at level 60. And even if they did⌠Why waste your potion global CD on taking off 1 DoT? If youâre going to use consumables why not use a Major health or Shadow protection potion?

To recap: if you roll undead, youâll actually only have one racial, which is Devouring Plague, it will be dispelled every time you use it, then youâll run out of mana and die, without exception. You are a free HK because the Devouring Plague skill is listed in your spellbook.
But if roll troll, you will come ahead in every encounter.
And dwarfs of any class always win against priests. Unless⌠Theyâre troll priests.
So there you have it, the wisdom of the classic wow arena pros.

Yeah to recap (if you werenât reading anything) Undead get TWO racials. DP with is extremely useful in important fights but less so in a ranked BG where you have dispells.
Berserking sucks and WOTF will always be better.

Most shadow priests players are going to pick the class after reading all these posts about how awesome they are in PvP. Most of these people wonât be able to manage their mana to save their lives. In short, most Shadow Priests players are going to be terrible just as Hunters were back in the day.

ok hereâs the real answer. if you enjoy 1 on 1s as Horde, go UndeadâŚby a mile. however, if you like doing premades, Troll by a mile. Zerker plus mana burn and a spamable 20% low mana cost reduced effectiveness that lasts 2 minutes. Troll may not be as cool looking but your group will love you. If youâre going Ally, DwarfâŚend of story.
Undead priest wouldnât need to farm hydrocane and can live underwater.

Tell yourself shadow priests wonât nuke someone down if you want.
Maybe in a standstill boss fight. Even then its marginal. It only become noticeable if yoj had two elite players playing each race for shadow priest. And even those stats are negligible.
