You can sit next to me
That’s not how that works, you’re actively participating and letting everyone know you are easily swindled.
I thought the price for any store item being 90 was ridiculous, but then I quickly realized it’s really just a 1.2 - 2.2 million gold mount with a few extra steps.
I don’t think you understand what the word “swindled” means.
To be swindled, one must not receive what they think they were getting.
I got exactly what I paid for and I am satisfied. No fraud happened. Blizzard didn’t take off with the money and disappear without giving me the mount I was expecting to get.
Find your words
why would I be jealous of complete morons?
look, if it were this mount + like 4 others, then it would be worth the price, but stand alone?
anyone who buys it is just stupid mate.
simple as that.
If you can give me just one legit reason on how it is worth $70 more than the $20 transmog mount, something EQUALLY as convenient, then I’ll take back what I said.
Until then, anyone who shells out $90 for a mount with a very slight convenience is just stupid.
Ok, well you keep telling yourself that.
It seems a lot more people are upset that everbody isn’t willing to swipe their card hard over and over again to satisfy your overlords’ need for total financial domination. That’s why the forum is absolutely flooded with marketing threads trying to convince people who have made the decision not to be brazenly manipulated by you and your ilk that they owe it to a soulless for profit company to spend the money nonetheless.
I only have the Tundra mammoth, but I wish it had a mog on it, too. Do you sympathize enough to get me the Wanderer’s Yak?
Yep, return mage tower skin!
hahahahaha
Well, since adult conversation and discourse is not possible with you, I’ll be moving on. Enjoy Classic.
upset is the wrong word.
just sad that most of that will not go into making wow great again.
it’s like when streamers say that they will invest everything into the stream but 5 years later they got the same setup
Actually, the price for a Bruto in $ fluctuated (and still does) with the current valuation of the Token in gold. If you and your associates remember $900 that would’ve been back around late April / early May 2020, but from the chart below you can see that the price ranged from $680 to $940 in the six months before it was removed from the vendor on 13-Oct-2020.
worth is what youre willing to pay for something. Everyone has a different idea of what that is…which is where ‘what the market will bear’ comes into play. You find the highest price you can charge and still make as many sales as you can reasonably get.
Then later you pull a fast one and sell it on a sale for half price to the rest who wouldnt pay full price, lmao
The Bruto doesn’t improve your throughtput in damage, healing or tank-mitigation. It doesn’t materially effect your combat gameplay which is the majority basis for all forms of end-game content (Delves, M+, Raid, PvP).
Compare that to PerfectWorld Int’l (a Chinese game, not Korean) where you can buy items of power / actual gear from the cash shop in a “spend money for this gift-box with a (low) random chance to get (or more likely not get) an item of power.” When Blizzard starts putting power up for sale, I’m done, but I’ve seen nothing as bad as PWI (and I played that game for a year+ before switching to WoW in 2012).
A convenience mount with an AH and mailbox for $90 compared to an AH-only mount for $680-940 (depending on when & if you bought it 100% with cash Tokens back in 2020) is a BARGAIN and brilliant play to boost revenue this quarter (which hopefully gets reinvested into new content, but have to wait and see on that score).
Only semi-related, but – I kid you not – my Mom once bought half a doorknob because it was on sale.
Psychology is a powerful thing.
I see more people being upset about people being upset than people actually being upset about this.
This made me laugh because my mom once took “free” cat-food sample packets from the supermarket. We didn’t have a cat at that time nor did our neighbors/friends.
What’s funny is, there are multiple groups all trying to shout down the other about this mount, and then certain known forum trolls who want to simply stir the pot with their passive aggressive threads created solely for their own amusement. At the end of the day, this whole thing boils down to:
- People who want it
- People who don’t
- People who can afford it
- People who cannot
- People who see no issue
- People who think it is a cash grab and hate the event as leverage
- People who have the original and want to feel special
- People who don’t have the original and don’t care about people’s “special status”
- People who want to troll
- People who want to use the price to start another type of argument
and about 40 other reasons. Ultimately, people need to just mind their biz and keep their opinions about other’s spending habits to themselves. And for those spending, stop stirring the pot with certain folks and go celebrate your mount in a mount celebration thread. We are (or should be) all adults and something as innocuous as a mount should not cause as much drama and trauma as a national election.
/soapbox - Thanks for listening
Well all the price of tokens has bottomed out and crashing now …from a high of 351,000 or so down too 216,000 or so …glad I waited till tonite to get mine…and also by the new Charity Battle Pet Reven…
