I used to troll trade chat saying like check wowhead theyre adding an AH mount to the store for $200 bc that seemed like such an outlandish idea, an AH mount in the store, but $200 would’ve seemed fair, imo. Granted you need to make it still seem appealing so $200 to the general public would’ve been a tad much.
But only $90??? You are insane if you think that is unfair and have never formed a thought on your own your entire life. This is not a “corpo bad bc need to make money” situation, this is a you dont understand the value of an AH mount situation. In which case, dont buy it, you dont need it. If you do understand the value of an AH mount but simply can not afford it, my condolences.
edit: forgot to mention, I know there are some people sadge bc they had the original one and this makes them kind of upset, and I sympathize, I get it, but still at the end of the day it’s not that deep yknow?

There are only TWO kinds of people mad about this:
- People who felt special with the original Bronto
- People who cannot afford the new one
It’s pretty easy to spot.

Oh ya I forgot to mention that part in my post the only valid complains I also sympathize with are ppl who had the og one and are mildly miffed about it. It’s more valid than “its expensive” but still not that deep bc just a game at the end of the day

If you can afford the War Within expansion and the subscription fee, you can afford a Brutosaur, let’s be real here. Blizzard nailed it!

And the people who were not playing or knew of wow during BFA. Just put the old brutasaur back on the vendor for 5m like the other utility mounts that were never removed xD

Yep you’re the modern WoW player. Hope they’re all the daddy you ever wanted.

Oh, my comment wasn’t an “I object” it was more of a “Ewww… really?” IDC if it goes back in the game for 5M. They need gold sinks, and poor people need mounts too,
Gotta agree with this one. The original Bruto was 5M gold with Tokens running around 145K at the time it was removed from the vendor (13-Oct-2020). That means the original bruto would’ve cost $689.65 if you wanted to just “buy it in cash” by spending $20 repeatedly on Tokens. Even at today’s inflated gold rate of 200K to 250K gold, that’s $400-500.
$90 is an INSANE bargain! Everyone with spare cash that was sore they couldn’t afford 5M for one back in BFA should get one NOW!

I hope the developers use this moment to realize that they don’t have to push seasons and systems on us to make money, they can just make popular mounts and cosmetics in the shop

Exactly, be the everlasting consumer you’re intended to be and stop whining people.
Only a sith deals in absolutes.

Anyone salty about buying the original brutosaur can take comfort in the fact that there will certainly be an even cheaper AH mount released someday.
Pixels have never carried any $ worth of value. They can always be invalidated tomorrow.

People keep claiming this but I have had no lag (except the first 20 mins on day one when the realms were coming up), no bugs, and have completed almost every achievement I can while waiting for the new ones to unlock on 10/28. Then again, I do not play on a full server.
I’ve seen a lot of positive feedback from the anniversary actually. The Brutosaur just adds a positive mindset all around the celebration. Just look at Dornogal, it’s infested with Brutosaur already so I think Blizzard nailed it pretty hard!

There are entire lists of issues, the most ridiculous ones are currently literally being actioned by blizzard including account bans due to major exploits in high end content.
Examples include new (and old) bugs bricking entire rogue spec rotations and Shadow Priests getting their earlier buffs removed because they came in hotfixes that weren’t merged into the patch.
Because they’d rather spend 90 dollar son Onlyfans and think they aren’t “wasting” their money there…

The events are mostly fine the issues come from absolutely ridiculous and inexcusable talent and class bugs that were introduced with this patch, a lot of which were known since early PTR versions.
honestly I take more issue with the mount pack they released at the same time, if only because it could have gone onto the TP instead, or even been a reward for the monthly instead of the back pieces.
…but we’re already gonna be hemorrhaging enough tendies next month, so maybe it’s for the best. Plus, the anniversary themed mounts look like the sort that will eventually be cycled to the TP too.
Then everybody you wants content patches leaves. Then the bootlickers and whales are all thats left get bored with groups taking to long to form then they start quitting to. This soon after you realize how much money you wasted because you thought a $90 mount is a bargain
