How are druids feeling going into the war within?

I really like Elune’s Chosen thematically, as well as the passive dmg reductions and Moonfire slow for PvP… With that being said, I find it overwhelming in its core functionality. We get just slightly more damage with our cooldown… More moons to drop with moons, or just faster Fury of Elune that no longer aligns with Warrior of Elune  I just hoped to see something new, fun to press, maybe some cool visuals to go with the bonuses at least.

Edit: for example, I remember when I first unlocked and got Power of Goldrinn to proc in Legion – that was really cool, and IMO still is just fun to see today.
What exactly separates a proc that’s fun from one that isn’t? My theory is that spending resources, risking time to stand and cast a spell, and in general ‘weight’ or ‘umpf’ = satisfaction when the numbers are delivered.

Even Naguura? Haven’t seen her stream or put out videos on YT for awhile. i though she took a break due to no content.

Two issues that i see on the balance tree. Why is Power of Goldrinn two points? Why do we have an offshoot node below solar beam to reduce its cooldown?
Goldrinn should be a one point node and Solar beam should just have the reduced CD if you silence a cast baked in.

They can’t fix it. Other class have 2 or 3 spec per class tree so is easy to reach certain talent points.

Druid have 4 spec into one class tree and all the spec function very differently and do different type of damage etc is simply doesn’t work. What blizzard needs to do have 2 class tree for druid, one for moonkin and resto and one for guardian and feral.

Talents that do one thing for spec A, but another for spec B, would probably be the cleaner solution. Our baseline tree is definitely a problem though, compare it to other classes that get impactful, extremely important abilities in both their class and spec trees, and the end result is that druids get half as many capstone tier talents.

People like to claim berserk is stronger than say, warrior avatar. But warrior avatar is a class talent, that costs 1 point. Berserk is realistically 5 talent points, from your spec tree. Warrior tree in general fills me with jealousy Everytime I see it.

I think she might be maining it? But nearly every vid she has is just unhappy with it.

I’ve not seen any new content out from her, last one she seemed to try hard to sell it. But goodness the vibe check was sad. You can tell things are a bit grim for the old moonkin.

yea the rework just made the spec more boring and didnt do a good job to fix the main issues of the spec\class tree. Supertease\tettles and a couple of other boomie mains are not happy at all.

It is what it is, blizz will likely do something about it in the next year. I see rogue then maybe druid get some fixes next, they just ran out of time and lack a class dev.

Nah it will be mage then priest then evoker then other class then back to mage again.

Getting pretty irritated by Blizzards lack of response to the flight form nerf. So sad.

The flight form change, if even really a problem is the least of druid’s problems. After since the new druid tree released in beta people have written pages on pages of what’s wrong with it and nothing has been made better.

I’m thorn inside trying to decide if’ ill play my Bdruid again. I’ve started to main Bdruid back in WoD. I’ve quit WoW mid Shadowland and came back only for Se of DF.

And, I’m not sure balance is fun anymore. TWW feel like they removed abilities we had only to gave them back in the form of Hero talent.

It is not a performance issue for me its just the fun factor. When you take a look at some hero spec like DK, Evoker, mage and Lock. You can see their is love used to craft these.

Druid feel like the janitor has been asked to work on our class.

If they had an healing spec I’d main DK or Mage for sur. Now I’m woundering if I go the evoker way.

I’m going to level it and see how it goes in the first raid balance patch. But I am levelling DK and Shaman as well as backups.

Other classes are perfectly able to have a class tree that works for tank, healer and dps. They should only have skills that are usable in all primary forms, or buff multiple class specific abilities so it covers them all. They just did such a lazy job with the druid class tree, took our core functionality skills and scattered them across it, without caring if it was useful to all specs. To get them back we have a scavenger hunt, except you have to path through skills you’ll never press to find them.

Druid feels pretty good to me. I’m looking forward to learning about each spec as I’ve only dabbled in Restoration and Balance towards the end of DF. I remember enjoying Feral a lot during WoD expac and Guardian was pretty fun too during SL

Going to level it, we’ll see. Both DPS specs seem extremely mediocre in PVE. They seem decent in PVP. Bear is good. Resto will be functional, probably good, but I’m not sure I’ll like it.

Class tree is bad. I’d prefer the class tree be wider and shorter, maybe taking some inspiration from the shaman class tree.

I keep hoping for feral to be interesting again. I think lich king and MOP will remain the best times to have played feral.

It feels better than enhance does so I’m swapping to druid for tww… Nothing else really appeals to me weirdly.

damn, you’re all hitting the nail on the head.
I’m like, aghast that I don’t get Moonkin form any more- and the Glyph of Stars when I swapped to Moonkin was a part of what helped me decide my xmog…
I don’t even understand the direction of this xpac and it’s 8 trailers in different styles of art or whatever. Seems like WoW team 1 is floundering.

It’s not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I’m playing Keeper of the Grove too which I read was the worst hero tree on the worst spec.
