“OMG! Candy Crush is being released in its original state for smart phones! It’s the death of my WoW!” Blizz really shot themselves in the foot by making sure the entire player base had phones, just to have players sniped from a different division of Activision!
Noooope. Dungeon Finder was one of the things that killed the game for many. Especially the people who wanted Classic WoW.
What you’re talking about was the TBC iteration of the LFG feature which later became the Dungeon Finder in WotLK.
The problem with the TBC version was that it simply didn’t work. It was clunky, and so people didn’t use it.
Looking at the Wrath version of the dungeon finder, my primary issues with it, in hindsight, are that it is cross-server, and that it teleports you to the dungeon. If it were a simple matchmaking tool on your server, that’s not so bad, especially if you’re just wanting to run a dungeon on off-peak hours.
Yep classic is definitely faltering. I’m on I think the highest populated US server and it’s hard to find groups now
Quest. Alot of good gear is from quest and then start your own groups

IDK how it is on heartseeker, but people are still doing Ony attunements all the time on my server.
Oh, it’ll happen even if Blizzard gets only one month of sub renewals from 80% of the people who tried or continue to play Classic. There’s very little downside for them.
I don’t know what server you’re on, but I just gave up after an hour of trying to build a scholo group. A freaking end game dungeon at peak server time. The problem with LFG is allowing people to sit in major cities and never go out into the world. I’m not talking about that.
Say no changes all you want, but how fun is the game going to be when you have nobody left to play with?
That’s crazy… Scholo is spammed every 15 minutes of every single day on Herod Alliance side. Groups for end game dungeons are never hard to find.
you could may be try to get a active raiding guild who would help you with this? of course you missed the boat when there was no pvp and the only thing people had to do is dungeon

I just don’t want the Dungeon Finder. It’s, in my humble opinion, a garbage system that played a very large role in destroying social interaction in retail WoW.
This. Every good/ friendly tank I have ran with is on my friends list. I have healed countless Arena/ Anger runs, and likewise one will come Tank a Pug if we cant fill.

You did not say no changes, so I misspoke there.
I’ve already clarified that I’m not discussing the current LFG that exists though. What good is trying to force people to socialize when there’s not enough people that need to go to the same places as you? There’s nobody to socialize with anyway on a lot of these servers, outside of PvP and raids at this point.
So you can’t find a group? Why is that Blizzard’s problem? Why is that my problem?
Just quit if you can’t figure out how to solve your own game problems.
