no one is doing Dungeons anymore
how am i supposed to gear up for raids and pvp if no one is doing dungeons
Pray everyone gets bored of battlegrounds sooner
but yeah i know what you mean… a lot less people leveling last i checked
Worst part is even if you get a group, you are not getting people who know how to do stuff like torches in BRD, so it’s almost pointless to group for anything advanced, unless you personally want to micromanage your group.
I just got my third character to 60, and I’m gonna have to park it as I cannot get gear or progress any further because there are literally NO level 60 groups even at peak hours on my realm. I feel classic is starting to falter and it’s sad.
you can gear up by questing because you aren’t level 60 yet
It’s what many of us have said since early Vanilla - instance PVE is boring. PVP is interesting.
start your own groups?
The majority of players are 60 and basically done with 5 man content. The rest of the playerbase is too casual to devote the necessary time to finding a group, traveling to the dungeon and then completing it.
Don’t expect it to ever get any better. This wasn’t much of a problem in Vanilla because of the constant new growth of the playerbase.
This was the argument against doing ‘Classic’ or other versions for so many years from Blizzard. I really hope things turn around for Classic because I really want my TBC servers and it will not happen if Classic falters so early on.
Have you tried playing during the day after work instead of 5am when everyone is asleep or getting ready for work?
Every realm I’ve been on during primetime has spam for the common dungeons, like brd/jailbreak, ZF, SM, Cookies Cove, etc.
Just wait for Classic WotLK and the evil dungeon finder
Does your server have pickup mc raids? Join them. Get experience in MC which is easy. Remember, mc was cleared in classic wow by a group of players in greens and people who weren’t even 60 yet. It’s easy.
See a player decked out in mc gear? Whisper them and see if an officer to their guild is available. Join their guild and be dependable. Fill whatever roll you can, even if you’re going into backup type roll if a core raider can’t be there that week.
People quit wow, and guilds lose raiders. It’s all apart of the circle. You just need to get yourself in the position to fill a role.
Or piggy back on all the Blood Elves and/or Draenei.
…all the Draenei, who am I kidding.
Also at low level it’s going to be increasingly hard because rather than compete for drops in VC or stockade or SFK people will just get their level 60 friends to run them through.
Pretty much once 1.12 was going that is what was happening and if you didn’t have a guild you had a fun time finding runs.
This isn’t retail, it’s going to get increasingly more difficult to accomplish things outside of guilds. So find one that fits what you are looking to do and hopefully it works out.
I would reroll from lvl 1 for this.
Go to raids in greens and blues . No one will care
Get a guild
find a tank, become his besty. help him out a few time, run a few sm armory/mara princess/arena/rend runs with him . let him know how beautiful he is, how he’s the best tank in the world. Tell him how you love the way he’s armor shines in the moonlight as you look deep into his eyes… tell the man you love him
if you have a tank in your pocket, you have a group.
If you are playing an in-demand class, you could fit into a raid without any complaints. Warlock curses are something that people want. You could probably find a guild with a raid that has less than 40 people and mooch off the drops that people don’t want or already have.
The attunements might be the more difficult part to get. You’d basically need to hitch a ride on guildies with their alts.
You can craft a bunch of really good gear with professions. Also, talk to your guildies, and get them to go with you. Holler in trade chat and lfg.
