yeah pretty standard, esp if you are posting on alt
which is funny because HRs just end up with people selling gear but now without the transparency or sharing of gold with entire raid
it is literally just worse for most players
Also my experiences with SR always seemed to be they allow you to SR whatever you like, its locked in and then when the item You SR dropps its suddenly only open for X spec or Y class OR “Sorry that is Guild only”
But funny part is everyone knows you can remove items from the SR that are not open to avoid this sort of thing, so its diliberate deception.
SR PuG’s are usually scummy.
ya I kinda figured when a guy offered me the staff for 300g. I woulda got it but I don’t have that much rn. Was kinda mad tho because why even roll on it if ur just gonna charge it to me
Seems like you just don’t have the time for classic MMOs this time round. If gdkps were allowed you wouldn’t even get an invite with less than 300g
It is unfortunate but your options are to either find a PUG raid that has loot policy better suited to you, form your own PUG raid and you can run it the way that you want, join a guild that at least has a raid schedule you can sometimes attend, or just don’t bother raiding.
If your schedule changes a lot (mine does too), then you might just need to realize that you won’t be able to consistently raid like you want to.
true
SR ain’t what it used to be. you used to be able to trust people
I have plenty of time I just have an ever changing week schedule so I can do a guild schedule. Played just fine last classic n yeah I know the gdkp is banned here kinda sucks cause I would join some on my priest for gold. It’s def harder to get gold going now for sure but these are just regular pugs I’m doing
He thinks people gold check ![]()
Yup, they’ve become crooked and its tilting.
Blizzard killed PUGs by banning GDKPs.
Now PUGs have to suffer through endless raids that are HR (disguised RMT runs) or try to get “core raider” status that you may or may never actually get.
Has blizard say anything about regulating hard lock then? It’s not like any1 does ms/os rolls and those runs are usually so bad you’d rather miss a lockout. Idk why they are changing pug systems but not changing hard lock
its truly a mystery that people can organise runs and want something in return for that (like HRing a BWL trinket) and people lose their minds, but if someone takes a host cut in a GDKP well, that’s just fair for them going through the trouble of organising a reliable pug!
Meanwhile I’ve just levelled a toon on EU Era and not only are there daily SR and GDKP pugs, but there are both that have no host cut and no HR’s.
Starting to think Hype Locusts might be the problem. Oh who am I kidding, I’ve always thought that.
I understan reserving an item since ur the raid lead but man why is there bwl pugs with just everything even good hr? I see nax advertising where almost every weapon in there is hr lol? And then couple that with me losing jondos judgment to a guy and he offers to give it for 300g. It wasn’t like this on the last classic I’m losing hype for tbc every day
Probably guild runs taking in pugs?
Its end game content. If you want to see it join a guild. If you want the most sort after items, organise a run as others are doing.
If you think gdkps would fix this when you can’t afford 300g, you are cooked
Yeah it’s a mess I think we just won’t play tbc we might try mop. What comes after mop?
nothing good
Don’t lie bro lol. He’s gonna have a worse time on era trying to pug. If you dont have thousands of gold to pug MC you wont be getting any gear OP lol
So often in early raids on Era the items go min bid because everyone there has everything except the 1 or 2 rare items
Back in vanilla you wouldn’t really see PUG runs for anything higher than molten core or maaaybe some of BWL. If you wanted to even see the inside of AQ40 or Naxx you were joining one of the handful of high end raiding guilds on your server and good luck with that. My vanilla server had literally only 1 Horde guild that was even doing AQ40 and Naxx.
These days everyone wants to do those high end raids in a PUG and you end up with situations like this.
