Company is crap and it honestly has been for a long time. I obviously cant speak for everyone but me personally i quit shortly after ended during the end of the MOP area and only came back due to the promise of wrath classic. As mentioned by you and many others. I work 10 hours a day and on my best days i get a max of 2 hours of gametime roughly 3 times a week. Now of which is further compounded like tonight. I get off and come home to login and there’s 14,867 people in q with a 367 minute wait, Now who exactly has the time so sit and wait 6 + hours on a game theyve been paying you every month for? Blizzard doesnt care about their player base at all as long as we keep that $ rolling in.
You are exactly the player that should have taken the transfer.
The queues are awful, queues combined with disconnects are the absolute worst. Especially when they seem to force you to requeue 90% of the time instead of remembering you were just connected.
My wife and I logged in this morning, 3 hour queue. Right after we get in, she got booted - and instead of letting her get back in, she got the queue again. Another 3 hour wait before we could play together. I sat around in Stormwind, then when there were about 20 minutes left on her queue, I got booted and given a 3 hour wait. At that point, another 3 hours would have landed us at 10:20 PM start time to do stuff together, but she decided why not and waited for me to go through the queue again, maybe we’d do like an hour of stuff before going to bed for work tomorrow.
15 minutes ago with just a few minutes left on my queue, she got disconnected, and once again could not log straight back in to her character and had to do the 3 hour queue all over again. Yep, definitely not playing tonight.
Transfers are an awful solution. We’ve been on this server since classic launch. Our guild and our buddies are here, and groups we’ve met along the way. Burning all of that down because Blizzard screwed this server means we just get screwed a second time.

If Blizzard had any interest in the game beyond milking a dead cow they would stop sorting us into different servers and let us all play together.
I have been in que right now for 4 hours. Early today I had a que time of 3 hours. I am still waiting for 1500 people on Grobb - the only RPPVP server that classic has.
This is aweful. I have a friend that can only play the game 2 days a week because of his job. Last night he sat in que for 5 hours and played for 2 hours.
People that think the que will fix itself. This isn’t SL or Classic. This is WRATH. This xpac is the peak of all MMO’s period. The que’s will not die down.
You would think if someone truly feels the way you say that they would just not use the crap product and move on with their life

Notrucis you realize the servers are currently handling 4x the load of the servers on the original release of WOTLK. They are using modern equipment that can handle a bigger load. The problem is we as players have maxed that out as well.

unfortunately blizzard has already said they don’t plan on addressing this issue beyond free server transfers. I’m making the harsh decision to leave my guild/ friends on bene, simply because my work schedule won’t allow me to wait in queue for 10 hours after i get off work. I shouldn’t have to download a program to operate my computer WHILE IM AT WORK, just to try and make the queue cut. Nobody was complaining about those issues. Most people were open to changes but hasnt even been brought up by blizzard. Kind of like the RDF system, blizzard made that decision on their own so how can you even blame the community.

We had an entire month to fix this, but did nothing but tell people to transfer to servers that now have queues as well.

Yeah, its either sit in que…or choose from a few awful server options for free migration.
My only options are all alliance dominant other than one, and that one is the lowest populated out of all of them by far.
Im on Faerlina to begin with to avoid ever being on a dead server, as if Im going to go to one of those terrible options…

Play on a dead server … or 500 minute queue.
“The technology doesn’t exist”. Yeah right. Fix the servers or make it free to play blizz. Quit being cheap.
Thank god MS is buying out blizz … maybe some competent devs will post into the new MS-Blizzard LoB. They know how to design “the technology that doesn’t exist”.
