And fair games are Hordes forte since we get a spawn cave close to mid field, can beat alliance to their forward bunker, and graveyards with spawn points that actually allow us to flank (IBGY => IBT Choke point) as opposed to GYs with spawn points at the back of a valley and no exit. You’re right, I dunno what I was thinking.
Everyone would just roll the ez mode faction.
Who would roll Horde that hasn’t already?
Me, I rolled horde during phase 2 so I could have a nice and enjoyable ez mode to play on while I waited for BG’s to come out since it’d take 15 deaths to get to BRM on Fairbanks.
If they let us play as mercs we could help you guys out a LOT in BGs.
While true and I harbor no hatred against the horde (had tons help me even on a PvP server) my biggest issue is the balance. Instituting that has a few ripple effects that would be against the idea of classic. The incentive for one faction to actually even out the imbalance would be gone, and also the racials would heavily counter classes that are not used to it. Imagine the complaints when forsaken warlocks go against forsaken warlocks.
I feel that the only solution is to roll the faction with what min/maxers will say have the “worse racials”, or you have to bear with the queue.
I can think of an idea that might fix the problem, but you’re not going to like it because it involves being on the grossly outnumbered faction.
Alliance just reroll or xfer to less horde populated realms. WSG hph is better now than horde AV turtles without our premades. They changed how classic work, so why not just let horde fight horde, or give us dualspec…
With the way you guys act in-game i’m glad.
Horde vs Horde.
The lore : Am I joke to you kid?
Where did I say it was about losses? In 1/3 of the premades I came across, we beat them. And in many cases, if you wiped the premade more than twice, they gave up and sat in the cave until Horde won.
It was not about wins and losses. It was a fair play issue.
What you can’t do is rank up.
The horde WSG premades are pulling in 100-200k honor a day. At 1 AV per 2 hours that nets you 5000 honor you can only get a max 60k honor if you play AV 24 hours straight
imagine thinking AV HK’s are better than WSG HK’s… The alliance cant get any bonus honor its not worth the queue. Fcukthe devs and their horde bias.
Allowing both factions queue as a 40 man raid would’ve been even worse. With that option horde players that weren’t in a pre-made raid would always be fighting an alliance pre-made. This would be due to the fact that as soon as the alliance raid would queue, the system would grab the first 20-40 horde players in the queue and would have to skip over horde players in a pre-made.
In the end this would lead to longer queue times for horde pre-mades and unwinnable games for horde players not in a pre-made.
I play alliance so it wouldn’t matter to me but I just wanted to point out why this solution wouldn’t work.
I doubt there was more premade players than solo players by a huge margin, as a solo player I did not care for the premade, all it did was make 15 vrs 40 launches 9 out of 10 games for me.
They better not. Bandaids over bandaids… great!
literally every single alliance poster told you this is precisely what would happen yet you all wanted it anyway so I am not sure what the point of this post is
I guess if you want to ignore the majority of the honor you now get in AV and any additional honor you could get in wPVP for an entire hour of queue.
hey, if it removes 1 hour queues.
That’s the first original idea on how to encourage more people to roll Alliance.
…that is if I’m interpreting it right. I read it to mean, give Alliance dual spec, but not Horde.
It will never happen, but it gives me a good chuckle imagining what it would be like.
thanks
