Making a twink which bracket is active? I’m looking for lively queues.
level 20 is by far the most active one.
50 on bfa account
20s is the most active bracket. However, 30s or 50s (bfa acc like homelander said), is the most fun in my opinion.
I’m testing out the lvl 20 XP off BG queue 37 minutes and no pop so far. what’s the average queue time for this xp off bracket? I can think of few things more fun than having a level playing field of everyone knowing how to play and everyone having the best gear money can buy. It makes the match more about ‘skill’ than having better gear or being higher level, having different talents, being a n00b, being less experienced than…
You’re doing it wrong. Your experience needs to be turned on and your subscription needs to expire so that the account becomes a veteran account. Locked at lvl 20 but able to queue exp on BGs. Aka 5 min queues.
Also bonus points for playing hunter. Hunter has a extremely high skill floor and only the most talented of players even attempt it. /respect

I’m pretty sure they’re playing on F2P capped accounts and not xpoff.
Ok, the reason 20s and 50s get games is because they are grouped with exp on players. They don’t turn xp off. 20s do it by being on accounts that is not subbed. This can either be a free to play account that never subbed or an account that let it’s subscription expire. Characters made by locking xp at 20 then letting game time expire and unlocking xp while level capped at 20 are called “vets” I believe. Vet characters are stronger because they have options available to them that a pure F2P account would never have and they get to keep some of those benefits after their subscription expires. ‘Free to play’ status is locked at level 20. I’m not aware if they organize competitive games amongst themselves or not. Mostly they queue up and fight levelers that are passing through the 20-29 bracket. I recommend people skip this bracket for bg queues if they are leveling and don’t want to deal with fighting these F2P ‘twinks’.
If you want to know more specific information about how this works, I suggest doing your own research. It shouldn’t take too long. I recommend googling xp off to get to xpoff. com where it’s predominately players that play 20s discussing things.
50s do it by playing on BFA accounts that are capped at level 50. It should be noted that the 50 bracket is separated from other brackets. Levelers and 50 twinks still mix but only for that one specific level. 40-49 and 51-59 exist separately. I’d recommend skipping this level if you are doing BGs to level.
I have no idea about 30-39 they might have some organized xp off games. I kind of doubt it but I would not be shocked. I’m pretty confident they would only get games on scheduled days so a lot of people would be turned off by that. I did some 49s xp off games back in I think cata when they split xp off and xp on queues. Scheduled games lasted for like 4 weeks then died off completely.
Edit: Personally, I find all these options terrible. 20s just seems plain dumb and pvp at low levels usually sucks. 50s BFA account seems like a pita to gear and probably has terrible queue times with only existing as a bracket with 1 level. If I want to play in a leveling bracket with a decently strong character for an expended period I party sync into it by grouping with someone that is in that level range. They give you a template that tends to be pretty good for the bracket, especially 59s.
For the most part, twinking is dead in retail and has been for quite some time. There is a little bit of twinking activity on TBC classic but that is a different discussion.

it’s like the same people who scream WoW iS dEaD every xpac, might not be jack compared to the golden days of subs or twink numbers, but still kicking nonetheless
also i agree 20s is garbage, player toolkits get better at lvl 30 and up

20 and 50 but you have to either have a non slands account for 50 or a vet no gametime account for 20’s. If you decide to play 20’s be prepared for the 8 million hunter 20’s running around.
Excuse me, it’s actually 9 million hunters. Don’t worry though, I’m sure hunters won’t be buffed with the new talent system…KEK

Close, sin disc. Is your hunter twink as geared as mine? Be honest. Mine is kind of a big deal.
Hehe if you don’t have 28s in main hand+ the gravy main stat terts+++, prob not.
