By this time, it’s safe to say that most players who were aiming to complete their five-mask achievement have made it. These aren’t entirely game-breaking changes, but they’re not mere QOL changes either.
Maybe you should just tell your friend you would rather not run them, instead of leading him on and avoiding him?
I took ya’ll 7 months to come up with this?
Really wish they’d reduced the number of split personalities from 5 to 3, so you have three exits at any time, with one or two being vaguely in the same direction you were heading
LMAO Right?
Increase the reward structure dramatically, visions are boring to do.
Would accomplish more than reducing the already aggravating CC.
To me it’s too late,I’ll find something else to do to keep my mind from being upset. Zombie frying coming up is more inspiring .
Split personality wasn’t that bad, I could get out of that easily as it was. The problem was leaden foot being rooted at 90% and then eating a split personality after because of it, then being stunned and dying.
I was fine with those, the visuals on the other hand…
Don’t care, I’ll take it.
I’ve been trying to solo a 5 mask for a while and this will help enormously.
Do something about the fire one, feels like it happens a little too often.
Why not have them saved per spec?
I’d rather see none of the effects triggered outside of combat and/or vanish as soon as you leave combat. SW mage area specifically has the annoying habit of falsely keeping you in combat. Also Alleria needs retuned to be less obnoxious on 5 masks. It’s already bad enough she has near permanent fire effects and an unkillable and persistant sanity draining eyeball, but it’s far worse when you are a tank/melee and wasting time constantly hiding behind a pillar in hopes she eventually runs out of attacks to use that keep her away.
The eyeball should be killable even if doing so only removes it for a short time. The bombs should have a smaller radius and/or kicking them should diffuse them, and flat out remove darkened sky on a 5 mask to force her to actually come fight once in a while.
Oh and also if you are going to add in a cheat death effect, then at least either give control of the player immediately or give them an immunity bubble if you absolutely insist on forcing them to endure that stupid res animation. Twice now on a 460+ priest have I died to a stun just for my cheat death to proc and I die again helpless because I don’t actually have control of my character as she is dramatically getting her 2nd chance. Plzkthx.
People whining about hot feet are just bad and don’t realize it is actually a huge buff…especially to casters. It has very predictable rules and can often allow your casters to turret and use it to move in the desired direction to get out of stuff. It’s only really ever annoying in Org in the shaman area since it can fling you off the path and into the water which is somewhat annoying and tedious to get back up from without running around.
Literally the only issue with the un-nerfed version of this is the way it overlaps with Haunting Shadows to create inescapable situations (particularly in Stormwind due to the tight corridors in most of the districts).
The duration wasn’t the issue.
No, I am, because i play the game and have fun and don’t attack them 24/7 and complain and whine like you do
Neither of these mechanics bothered me.
Scorched Feet should be deleted and thrown in a paper shredder
See now I thought the scorched feet was fine once I figured out how to control it. The leaden foot slow on the other hand was horrible even as a range class. This change is nice.
In fact, Saturday night a friend IM me in game and asked if I could run his priest through just 2 of the 4 areas. I was like, let me run you through tomorrow…I’ve been avoiding him ever since because I hate vision crap so much.
What Sunne said. It’s not nice to lead someone on like that.
Great! Now can you make BfA less boring? Or is that too late now?
Too late. Still not going to do it. Even if they double the Echoes drop. It is boring.
To put 1 second into perspective:
People play the game and think that somewhere between 60-80 milliseconds lag is fine.
Past 100 milliseconds and it starts to annoy people.
100 milliseconds is 0.1 seconds.
1 second is 1,000 milliseconds.
Would you play WoW with a 1,000ms lag? I’m sure you wouldn’t.
