So has anyone else gotten a tremblade/volrath kill in ashran only for it to not register for quest completion/a victory?

I don’t think this would be as dramatic as you’d think.
One mode would be for casual pvpers, the other mode would be utopia for rpers =)!

yep, sometimes it doesn’t even end the game. happens sometimes. SAS tremkills nearly every ashran, if you need the quest just join one of our syncs
won’t happen unfortunately, and as i alluded to earlier, the ability of a single group to massively control both sides of a single game is bad for both sides. you already see this in solo shuffle, a dps will sync with a healer to boost the healer’s rating, the other healer gets screwed.
Here is what will happen. Let’s say there is strong Alliance preform A and strong Horde preform B. They know each other and say “Hey, let’s not risk fighting each other. We can manipulate the groups such that the only way we see each other is if we are on the same side.”
we should do a big wargame teamfight in middle of AV
40 of bris homies vs 40 of inemias homies.
whoever wins the teamfight takes all the glory.
would be interesting to see the comp setups on each team XD

Just keep epic BGs faction based and let nonepic BGs be cross faction. Nobody worth worrying about cares what happens in epic BGs anyway.

Inemia is only challenging me to a 40v40 because they know I can’t convince 40 of my friends to go to that lol
lag means there is more emphasis on wisdom and experience than simple reaction time.
This logic is flawed in the since that the merc que is up for one faction already and if they wanted to do this it could be done today.

its actually been a major complaint of merc mode, people always accuse mercs of throwing the game
Best av i did i solo que’d into 2 sync teams. i mercd to ally that game and sit towers on my rogue (lolsapped) proceded to body the stealthies they sent all game while the others handled the tf. Only time ive been praised for actually playing defense in an av instead of being accused of being afk

I’m not comparing it to the current system. I am comparing it to a cross faction system where people are randomly placed into a side where mercing doesn’t even exist. Because mercing would not exist in a fully cross faction system.
That is, if there is to be a cross faction system the players can’t decide which side they play on because that can be exploited.
this logistics and networking thing for epics isn’t so easy is it? well whenever you are ready for 40v40 AV, SAS will be waiting for you.
