Hot Take: Getting Rid Of GDKPs Was A Mistake (Part 1)

Are you kidding? When Blizz messes something up they don’t fix it for very long periods of time. They typically don’t move quickly to change things or implement large scale fixes AT ALL. They only did that one time and it was with ERA when they put in the alliance version of rend and gave druids polearm skill then they retracted that in a week or less due to community backlash.

Normally Blizz takes multiple patch cycles or an entire expansion to roll out / fix any mistakes.

I have seen them fix things not wait 2+ years. they fix things they deem an actual issue and gdkps are not part of that

Maybe in retail or in the days of old blizzard. But the classic team? Hell to the no.
They let things drag for entire patch cycles! Did you play SoD? Did you get to experience the total garbage that was the blood moon event until they got around to fixing it 2 whole patches later? Did you experience the horrific class imbalance that to this day on SoD still hasn’t been resolved?

If GDKPs aren’t an actual issue then they should have never been banned.
Did the original Mediumburger go on break? Are you the replacement?
Notice that grammar of yours improves every once in awhile. Maybe google translate is just working a little better than earlier?

Look at borrowed power from Legion.

Everyone said how much they hated the borrowed power system along with the AP grind, so blizzard is like “OK GUYS WE HEAR YOU”!!

Then did it again for BFA, then again the community said we hated it.

Blizzard once again said “OK GUYS WE HEAR YOU”!!!

Then did it again for Shadowlands lmfao.

They finally removed it for Dragonflight.

I mean GDKP players were enjoying the game and others decided to make it their mission to prevent them from playing the way they wanted.

That’s basically the definition of toxic right?
" Being toxic describes behavior that is harmful, malicious, and damaging to others, often manifesting as self-centeredness, manipulation, control, and a lack of empathy."

more and more conspiracies

2 server solution man, easy fix for everyone and everyone wins.

Except of course… the people who profit from GDKP being banned.
Couldn’t be you though right Mediumburger?

they were upset gdkps were using rmt not at gdkps themselves. untill blizzard decides rmt is orth removing gdkps should stay banned in new servers

And ended up creating anniversary the wow server with the most RMT in the history of wow.

Anti-gdkp is 100% toxic. It is hating something that you aren’t a part because of misguided beliefs.

I’m not asking them to allow it in anniversary, it’s already ruined and I quit phase 1 it was so bad.

That doesn’t change the fact that being anti-GDKP is a toxic stance and I hope they don’t allow xfers from anni to Era because we don’t need those sorts of players (and the bots that sell them gold) reducing the quality of Era.

I have misguided beliefs because I dont want a game that rewards people for losing bids?

oh you know 100% they are going to allow it

I don’t think being against gdkp’s is inherently toxic but the people who seemingly support that view are toxic for sure.

If they just said hey we don’t like gdkp’s and would like a server to play on without them nobody would or have any issue especially if they also held view that if people did want to participate in them they should have the option to or a server to play on.

What you find instead is a bunch of low level alt troll accounts (i’ve ignored like 30 of them) who seemingly troll and constantly say “we won you lost” who don’t care about players or the game and only want people to be forced to play there way for those few who do even play the game.

Blizzard made the decision.

2 server solution is a great compromise.

And that has zero impact on the fact that every anti-gdkp player holds a toxic stance as they want to micromanage other players because of one reason or another.
