I only came back in 8.3 and as a returning player it felt like an extreme uphill climb. The amount of work just to catch up was way too much. Shadowlands is way more toned down.
No, they’re both equally as bad and they haven’t learned from any of their failed systems.
I enjoyed BFA, Shadowlands is in no way fun for me. I still enjoy the older content, or I would cancel my subscription. For me, Shadowlands is a dumpster fire that I find little enjoyment in.
It really was, azerite wasn’t as punishing as covenants is.
I liked BfA way more than Legion. Shadowlands started out between the two, but I’ve liked the SL end game slightly more (I don’t Raid so factor that in.)
One thing I liked about BfA was the distinct factions, though I preferred the Horde side.
BFA was Blizzard’s best expansion.
