Hot Take: Ban Doomsayers

Go back to reddit.

You can also just ignore them. Trolls be trolling, unless there is a valid point, it pretty much just gets ignored by most.

You’re purposely being obtuse or you have a real reading comprehension issue.

The percentage of power at stake is less relevant, it was more about people feeling compelled to stick with one covenant or another for combat reasons, when thematically or mog reasons would have seen them be happier somewhere else.

-Comes in generalizing about “Americans”
-Laughing-crying emoji
-Hidden profile
-Is a lvl 10 DK with 80 whole achievement pts
-Tells others they have a reading comprehension issue.

Man, remember when trolls used to actually be interesting or funny?

This is like one of those “I’m new to trolling, what are the basics?” type of deals.

You have a lot to learn.

People are not happier with some nice transmog when in return they severely underperform and let their raid-/M+ group down or don’t get invited at all because of grey/green parses. This whole covenant debacle was a fundamental design flaw, that’s it.

Okay, but how do you do that when there’s nothing to work with? The onus is on OP to guide discussion, and goodbye posts rarely ever offer any guidance, never mind a foundation, to work from.

So what’s the answer then?

So, this is the post to which you’re replying

You wanna explain where, like, 90% of what you’re saying is coming from? You ok?

Which supports the point i was making at the start of this tangent, players are rarely upset with specific content/systems in terms of wanting them entirely scrapped, it’s more about how they are restricted, tuned or set up in general. Any suggestion that Blizzards design pipeline is set up in such a way that it prevents them from reacting quick enough to keep us happy is just silly.

The vast majority of any given expansions flaws could be fixed with a simple patch, and would not in any way require a massive overhaul.

The rest of their posts.

100% a sockpuppet, not worth pursuing.

We need Battle.net accounts here, Blizzard.

It’d clamp down on the sad attempts at trolls.

Nothing of substance, they’re just here to make people mad lol.

Tbh I don’t think calling out Nerifina for a lack of reading comprehension counts as trolling.

I think it’s just good common sense.

I mean if you wanna bother going through the level 10’s post history, I think you should do the same for Nerifina’s

Me pointing out that you have no idea what freedom of speech is isn’t trolling.

The irony.

Just move on then if you don’t see any point of discussion. I don’t really understand the need of “Now I have to show them…! rolling back sleeves”. If there’s nothing to work with just leave it be - or voice your polite disagreement/disappointment that there’s nothing to work it. Or just ask. Ask what exactly they don’t like and what the problem is.
Between saying nothing and mocking someone, there’s still a lot of room left. It’s much healthier to focus on discussions that are interesting for me instead of coming at people who open topics that I find boring or useless.

Alright. The examples of Covenants, Torghast and Artifacts already showed that there were several major points that were flawed and required basically a huge redesign. I just leave it at that, further discussions about this are pointless and off topic anyway.

Evilira, not Nerfina.

I don’t care, either way.

What they do with their free time is on them.

They’re a throwaway character with nothing to offer, just an inflammatory existance.

I understand.

The point I’m making is if you’re going to go through the trouble of reading Evilira’s posting history, you should also go through the trouble of reading Nerifina’s.

Having done that, I think you will come to the conclusion that Evilira is not entirely unreasonable.

Didn’t and won’t.

Hidden profile tells me all I need to know, those are the biggest red flags.

Well, you’re drawing arbitrary, illogical lines in the sand, but you do you!

Well, then just ignore this person if you find them unpleasant? No big deal, I guess.

It’s a game.

What reason do people have to hide things?

Unless, they are here to troll! Of course lol.

Or, they don’t want their troll characters to be linked to ones they actually play, etc.

I never understood why hidden profiles are allowed in the first place- you can get people banned for harassment.

Hidden profiles just allows people to troll even harder.

It is what it is. As always people want things enforced on others but a free pass for their own behavior.
