Horn of Lordaeron

It’s one of those runes that sounds cool but is complete trash in practice.

This guy just gets off to making needless strawman arguments in defense of his most favorite, and ridiculously overpowered, class in a 20 year old video game. Would be sad if it weren’t so amusing. What a salt mine of a human.

That’s all 6 of your posts.

It runs on the [current expansion] client (I say this because I think they updated it to the DF because the API is now different: C_Container.GetItemCount vs GetItemCount).

But I think they still have to run a sort of ‘compatibility mode’ to get the “Vanilla Feel” (ie warriors Charge-stunning each other).

If they could do it, they’d like need to make either new versions of each ability or a ‘master spell’ that makes the existing spells raid-wide; like they did for making Blessing 10min instead of 5min.

However, that would also take away from the “Vanilla Feel”. No longer would you need to take more than one Paladin or two Shamans to benefit the raid.

I’m fine with things not being raid-wide. I’m not fine with needing to maintain a sub-10minute buff.

unfortunately boys this rune is just for holy paladins to use with the new set bonus.

or for a low level paladin to be able to get a hefty phys buff while also keeping wisdom on themselves for uptime (str for sheath + agi for aow not terrible).

imho I think personally they should rework this rune to be the paladin dual wield option.
-especially now with hammer of the righteous being so good with a 1h weapon.
-shaman didn’t have dual wield in classic either
-it would be a particularly costly choice for the raid now that they are buffing mana gains from martyrdom “significantly”.
-could be a really interesting pally tank choice if they foregoed a shield to allow being crit for reckoning procs… since boss crits aren’t as dangerous in classic… and they would remove the extra personal damage pally tanks are taking by running martyrdom now.
-personally as a shockadin i would love this option from a nerdy 5e/RP perspective

Couldn’t agree more. Man, this Studlight guy really knows his stuff. When is Blizzard hiring him???

Well the set bonus was removed. So no, it is even more useless.

I still dislike the idea of a DW paladin. Having a class that has a big 2H is a dying breed. If you want to play a Fury Warrior or Shaman, play the Fury Warrior or Shaman.

Edit: odd that you’d post then on your mage to congratulate yourself on being so “smart” though. Not like Blizzard can’t tell you did that.

Not at all, actually. But enjoy the dopamine points of spreading misinformation about classes you don’t like (paladin) and classes for which you have a middling grasp of (Shaman)!

Oh that’s cute… you cherry pick my guilds first forray into ST with a half-guild half pug group who haven’t seen the fights to pick out my blue parses to say I’m bad at the game. (Please just ignore the purple and orange and pink parses in Gnomer.) Even funnier when you haven’t logged in ST.

You’re just a dumb ****poster. Ignored, like I should’ve done a while ago.

true i left the green numbers behind last phase so havent been following as closely. makes sense that people would prefer more FoL crit than more holy light haste.

You’re allowed to have this opinion

I don’t, that’s why I’m making the suggestion. Just because it doesn’t fit your 2h typecast doesn’t mean you need to be so dismissive. (hopefully blizz just keeps making 2.0 sec swing time 2h weapons for paladins…)

also i just checked your logs and it looks like you don’t even know how to play a paladin
:rat: :ok_hand:

You’re looking at my logs from SoD where I am playing extremely casually and I am a tank.

The one time I played Shockadin was mostly in AH greens with a 1h/shield.

I have been playing paladin since original WoW sporadically (back when Seal of Fury was a thing) and full time from BC pretty much for the past 20 years in all manners of WoW. So your crying about my logs means nothing to me.

It doesn’t change the fact that dual wield does not belong on paladin at all.

Said nothing about ST at all…talk about internalized self awareness. IF I was to cherry pick I would jump to the 58.2 best BFD or speak to your average gnomer numbers (of which not a single one is pink, unlike yours truly)

Now that you’ve been exposed, please take a pause from spreading baseless misinformation about a class you clearly hate as a way vent your frustrations that you are simply not good with the class you clearly love.
