The blessing changes for paladins were great and I think we’re all really happy with them, but it appears horn of lordaeron has been overlooked. When/How exactly is this rune supposed to be usable? If it’s going to be exclusive with might it should be more usable in my opinion.
The first problem is that it’s a buff for physical dps classes, but you have to give up your main physical damage runes to be able to use it. Rendering it useless unless you are a holy paladin. But even then, it’s only group wide so you have to be in the melee group for it to be useful? This makes no sense in a world where just about anyone else should be in the windfury group instead and we now have this multitude of melee hunters. And then only one group gets horn so I still I have to might any additional melee or pets and track those blessings still? It’s awful lol.
Please consider making horn of lordaeron raid wide at the very least, as well as making it a skill book like the enhanced blessings. There just isn’t a situation where this rune is good vs the other chest options. Also please consider making all paladin auras and shaman resist totems raid wide.

Would love it to be raid wide and longer duration. I think they did something similar for warriors with rallying shout they made it raid wide instead of party wide

It’s a terrible rune, unusable, same with rebuke and tremor aura. They should get these 3 and put in a different rune slot.

conceptually fine, if they would make it either raidwide or an independent buff that does stack with might.
To even have it logically compete with anything as an option in that slot it needs an over haul desperately.
Id be all for giving Shaman a form of Kings/Salv to make Horn act like a Windfury totem.
Or have the horn instead increase Damage/healing/crit by all affected by 3 - 5%
Either way its garbage and it needs at base value to stack with Might.
If kept as is: let it work with Might please.
Holy paladin uses it so you can get an extra blessing… basically might and salv for melee or might and kings for tanks mana physical damage can get might and wisdom even.
holy paladin uses it for the caster group that they are sitting in for concentration aura?
they already have access to kings via hunters. and alpha is essentially anti-salv by just giving the tank 45% more threat instead of reducing everyone elses by 30.

Got ya, either way the damn horn needs a buff.
What else is a holy paladin gonna use? Also gives +healing/damage with sheath of light for themselves
martyrdom gives your raid mana back on your swings. def more benefit
Horn exists to give druids and hunters an agility buff. Think of it as a replacement for the shaman agi totem.

much more likely you’re in the caster group for concentration aura
NEW IDEA - have lordaeron buff as is but also give the casting paladin their own chance to gain extra attack.
let hpals get “wildstrikes” for themselves while in the caster group for concentration as they should be. shockadin really needs the bonus swings & gl convincing the raid leader to let you be in the melee group.
or just make all buffs raidwide and let the boys cook :^)

time to raise this thread from the dead, because of supposed new tie in with the set bonus- won’t get spoiler-y with stuff cause some ppl wanna be surprised.
But this is a bad surprise! To have anything tied with Current HoL; I saw a reddit post just recently that makes HoL look WAY more interesting!

If HoL was like this, not only would it promote an interesting class fantasy for our blessings, it would technically give hpally a healing rune, something we desperately want, and an aoe heal.
I’m sure they could adjust the numbers to make it not busted, but they made a lot of really juiced runes. just give it low base numbers and have it scale nicely off bonus healing (not like ret is gonna take HoL over SoM tho lets be real.)
