Horde Wrathgate Quest Chain broken

Wrath of the Lich King Classic
Level 74 Troll Warrior, Old Blanchy
Successfully completed every quest in Taunka’le

Doing the Horde Wrathgate quest chain. Successfully completed the quest ‘Across Transborea’ and turned it into Wartook Iceborn at Westwind Refugee Camp. But the follow-on quest ‘A Tauren Among Taunka’ was not available to me. Thus I am blocked from continuing the Wrathgate quest chain.

Turned in 3 tickets but every response I’ve received thus far has been a copy and paste of the same troubleshooting process (below) - which I have followed to the letter each time with zero luck:

Please also reset your user interface, following the steps bellow:

• Completely exit World of Warcraft.
• Uninstall any addon managers to make sure they don’t re-add your removed addons.
• In the Blizzard Battle.net desktop application, click Options and select Show in Explorer (Windows®) or Reveal in Finder (Mac®).
• Open the World of Warcraft® folder.
• Open the folder for the game version you’re troubleshooting (retail, classic_era, or classic)
• Rename the Cache, Interface, and WTF folders to CacheOld, InterfaceOld, and WTFOld.
• Re-launch World of Warcraft so the changes can take effect.

Thanks to completely blind luck, my issue resolved itself.

Doing a JC daily in Howling Fjord (Vrykul Amulet) I picked up the quest Give it a Name from Chief Plaguebringer Harris in New Agamand as it was a simple (i.e. lazy) turn-in to the nearby New Agamand bat handler Tobias Sarkhoff.

Its follow-on To Venomspite led me to Chief Plaguebringer Middleton in Venomspite. I snagged it since I needed the fly point there. The follow-on to To Venomspite ended up being The Forsaken Blight and You: How Not to Die … which is the 2nd quest in “Step 4: The Forsakens New Plague” chapter of the Wrathgate quest chain. I was able to re-join the Wrathgate quest chain from there, ultimately earning the Veteran of the Wrathgate achievement.

Thanks for the info. Never done the Northrend content Horde side… but I remember quite well this quest chain from the Alliance side back in the day. Looking forward to it.
