Ever notice how Horde is so much better than Alliance? Just look at the mythic guild progress. Alliance is laughable vs Horde.
And do a lfr bg. Most matches are a win for Horde.

Yes yes, the Alliance sucks. We all know this, the Devs know this, even the players most die hard recognize the Alliance’s progression is going to dwindle to roaches at this rate.
There’s no fixing it, make a Horde alt/Main while you can. And play the Afterthoughts when you’re bored.

Yup, this is what I’m thinking. Combat Analysis, as far as I can tell–with my new Mechagnome, is insane. This is what Blizzard needs more of so that things get more in balance. What is it about balance that is so hard for the game developers to understand?! It is so lacking. To cite another blatant example–Demon Hunters.

That’s even worse. If you take what few alliance there are and slap the majority of that onto RP servers, then there’s even fewer Alliance players playing the game than you already see.
We just have different interests.

Psh, Mythic progression or not Alliance will always be the best to me! I don’t need no statistics! I shall fight for the Alliance and slay Horde if need be! Well… in all seriousness at least Blizzard confirmed that we won Darkshore and Arathi. Good enough for me.

I don’t personally feel like the fact that most top-end progression raiders are horde affects me. Like, I don’t get any gear when they down a boss. What advantage does it offer me? Morale?

Honestly, I used to do bgs a fair bit, but the imbalance has never been so pronounced. After seventeen years of wow, clueless Alliance still thinks Warsong Gulch is about controlling mid, while nine times out of ten Horde run flags up-field unchecked three times in a row to get all the loot and all the honor from the bonus you get.
Never mind. In less than end game pvp bgs, a lot of Horde wear blue and purple gear and a lot of the time enchanted and socketted and even BIS. Alliance is wearing gear that is sometimes twenty or thirty levels below current levels, never enchanted, and all green, sometimes worse. I have seen some Alliance with empty gear slots, never a single enchant or anything to up their game.

Yup, Alliance sucks. Joined Horde after 12 years of alliance. It’s much better. Feels far less hopeless. Alliance is outright depressing.

stop contributing and start progressing then?
leveling on alliance imo has been a struggle like yea people do suck more compared to on horde at this rate but on horde to me people are very up tight. they push content like they are going for world first when really they are just casual.
my last guild in bfA for uldir benched me one of their top dps because i wouldn’t get into discord because our RL was constantly yelling at us and lacked actual knowledge of the fight which was zul i believe. ended up wiping, nobody soaking pools but me and healers which shouldnt have been soaking. ended up just pugging it and progressed further in a short amount of time compared to them.

Back in MoP Blizz buffed the horde racials and then put a faction change sale.
This caused top tier guilds to move to horde (most of them did) because their racials were just stupidly OP for content, particularly Method.
PvPers also moved Horde.
This caused a trickling down effect that meant that if you wanted to progress, you had way more chances on Horde. Over the years that just built up and up, OP racials won’t fix the Alliance anymore and Blizz refuses to take action instead, giving the Horde much more popular AR choices in general and putting another faction change sale to boot, so most people are horde.

This was then reversed during WoD when Blizzard nerfed Horde racials and buffed all the Alliance racials.
The two main racials, EMFH and Stoneform, overbuffs caused huge exodus of Horde Players and a explosion in number of Human race players (god I remember every second rogue was a human female rogue…).
That all reversed just before Legion after they nerfed EMFH to remove only stuns and rebuffed some of the Horde racials, allowing the Horde population to grow back.
It’s all like a rollercoaster 
In regards to Vulpera, Blizzard really put a hell of alot effort into those furballs (including new animations), Mechagnomes on the other hand just look like lazily reskinned Gnomes.

Yeah that’s on pvp definitely, back when the Alliance had Avengers in WoD.
But PvE kept being overwhelmingly horde dominated.
Yup, from the very concept. Alliance ARs are lazy. “Fat people and recolors” don’t take much creativity.
