I haved a space goat shaman, gonna make a horde shaman. cant decide between Orc or Tauren
i usually run resto & ele

just looking some thoughts that I might not have come up with myself

As far as racials go, Tauren have the 2% crit damage and healing which works nice for lava burst and also for crit healing. It’s hard to beat Orc though with on demand main stat and stun resistance.

Thematically they are both the OG shaman races so whatever floats your boat. I find Tauren culture to be a lot more interesting.

I personally like Tauren better. They seem like the most traditionally shamanistic shamans in WoW. (At least for the horde lore)

I am leveling a high mountain Tauren becuase who doesn’t love moose horns? :sunglasses: plus they have the coolest heritage armor, and super cool totems.

Also that deep booming voice, and I find their racial a bit more usable for casters as another “evasion” technique to break out of combat now and then and recover.

Orc if you want to see your feet slot mogs, but I’m hoping we get more races available when War Within comes. I want an undead shaman.

Orcs have better casting animations then taurens.

True 
 one thing that’s always bothered me about Tauren is how lightning bolt only comes out of one hand when they put forward both hands.

Only acceptable races are those with hooves, a tail and horns.

Only acceptable orc are mag’har one. I cant make a fel orc shaman its just agains lore

Mag’har have cool totems and the racial isn’t bad. I’ve got a Tauren Shaman I made in cata and a mag’har one. Green orcs are cool too, be son of green Jesus

The only acceptable Shaman is a Horde Shaman. If you are playing it on the blue team, you are objectively doing it wrong.

I keep hoping for Murloc or an insectoid or slime race for shaman but no, a third Dwarf race is surely better.

Will allow since Taurean’s can have beards and Draenei can have tentacle beards.

I said what I said, Dwarves do not get a pass. I still don’t buy any connection between Dwarves and deep Shamanism. Use of lightning is not a deep enough connection to call yourself a shaman. Dwarves are only “Shaman” due to gameplay reasons. Even the Dark Iron having summoned Ragnaros I don’t give a pass. Jaina isn’t a shaman and she controlled all those water elementals to attack Orgrimmar.

Blue team Shaman are abominations, no exceptions.

Tauren have their heritage armor that lets you walk around with a giant totem on your back. But we can all get fairly large totems from Moose Mountain place.

Anyway, warstomp is always amazing to have and just makes the world easier to deal with.

I like my Zanda shammy. Blessing of Akunda is a nice little bump to my healing spells and Zanda are just so cool looking, imo.

Gotta agree with that first part. Every time I try to play Shammy on Alliance it just feels wrong. Same with Pally on Horde.

Bruh, you are on a Dwarf. You actually need to be silent on Horde matters, small human.

Tells me you don’t understand the Horde or why it has the races it does and why they oppose the Alliance.
