If it’s true, that would be pretty silly for them to retcon cause Shadowlands happened cause of BFA and Slyvanas and all that.

I’m not sure about that the story does strongly suggest what I say is true. But for what ever reason its not Voss only hates the scarlet crusaders and anyone who tries to attack the forsaken out of hatred for the undead outside of that she just wants to isolate herself. So if she is leader i can see the undead wont have a lot of spot light as she will keep most of them isolated
On top of that isolation tactic its probably a good idea as the angels of death arent mass producing forsaken anymore so i wonder how they gonna create more, a problem i hope they solve in shadowlands.
I get that the writers want to push their morally grey narrative, but you can’t just pretend BFA didn’t happen.
You can’t write it off as if all The Horde are a bunch of rough around the edges softies ready to protect the world. You can’t ignore the conflict of ideals between The Horde races. What the heck.

BfA was the set up for this. They want to put the faction war behind them so they can tell bigger stories like Shadowlands. They just really botched BfA’s story trying to make Sylvanas into a cartoon villian.

Did you miss the part where the Horde literally had a civil war about this issue and your side lost? If you edgelords want your evil Horde so bad, so jump in the Maw and find it.
Anyway, this isn’t a retcon, just regular con. These are the ideals the Horde has chosen to espouse now after overthrowing the Banshee Queen. We’ll see how long they stick with 'em. (Probably until subscription numbers dip again and they decide to do a Horde vs. Alliance expansion to get the fanbois back.)

Though you know what, Blizzard has thrown in false info into data mining before. So unless someone got this on actual in-game footage, it could be them purposely messing with our heads to get us riled up.

They’re trying to make things more generic for the generic, shared starting area. I do agree it feels a little dirty. I don’t mind revamped leveling but I wish they kept the starting zones as the default for new players.
Also I really don’t like how they keep watering down trolls and orcs (but especially trolls in my case) to be blue and green tauren.
The current live intro is already a lot “nicer” than what it was originally in vanilla.

Blizz is trying to hard to make every race appear to be a race of noble, righteous heroes. This hurts the game in so many ways. It makes the lore/story less interesting, it depreciates some of the unique appeal that helped set wow apart from other games, and it throws away the unique identities of the various races. Many of those identities have been 15 years, if not 25 years, in the making.
Honestly it’s slightly upsetting to see this happening to the various characters in game as well as the races as a whole.
You can be “good” without being nice. You can be “bad” without being evil.

I see this as a good thing. It means Blizzard might be headed towards removing this outdated concept of faction vs faction that they’ve been riding on for so long.
