Push for a line about “learning from past behaviors” ro something, because if you to refernce every change the races have gone thorugh, that intro cut scene would go on for five minutes.

Exactly. Not even referencing their past, that doesn’t help. You can briefly mention the Forsaken’s past as a whole, but still refer to the PLAYER Forsaken in a more positive light.

It’s the fact they’re trying to gloss it over and thus whitewash it.

I’m not BFA is beyond trash tier level of fanfiction. It ignores so many previously established in universe rules that it’s astounding. For example the night elves that are raised and totally willing to fight for the horde who in one case literally minutes ago died at the hands of the horde but there is no mind control. The whole idea that the alliance after wrath gate would assault Undercity without gas masks which have been shown to allow immunity to the blight. It’s just one trainwreck after another.

Well, they yanked the whole Battle for Darkshore and the burning of Teldrassil when the expansion launched. New players in Shadowlands will go directly from the new starting area to Boralus or Dazar’alor and completely bypass the Undercity scenario, along with the Heart of Azeroth.

They’re definitely changing what new players will see when they level through BfA content. They’re going to be so confused trying to talk to people who played it while it was current.
