Horde really like to make revisionist history. You are bad, get over it

I did.

So instead of trolling you. I showed you an excerpt that shows that the Orcs were on a dying world that could no longer support them.

If you don’t want to talk about the Lore then don’t.

Its the price we pay for playing World of Hordecraft.

You call it “World of Hordecraft” but… Horde lost the 4th war.

And clearly skipped over the whole part about Ner’zul, how Gul’dan came to his position, and all that.

I’d love to, but you still don’t know your lore and I’m spending too much time trying to correct your factual errors.

Lost and yet somehow came out on top. At least their players did.
Thats Blizzard’s favouritism at display.

You deny that the Orcs had to leave Dreanor due to their world being virtually destroyed. It could not even support them anymore.
We might disagree on fundamental issues within the story but I at least take the time to address your points seriously out of respect for you but you don’t seem interested to reciprocate that.

Came out on top

Has a dumpster fire of a story no one asked for

Got several cinematics, an entire story that revolves around them and an overhaul of their entire faction leadership and story.

The Horde player came out on top in the scheme of things.

I mean, lame bait and a transparent troll. But the blatant desire to make other people unhappy is a particular turn off.

How did we come out on top? We lost Lordaeron. We likely lost our presence in Arathi Basin, there’s no indication we get to keep anything we took in Ashenvale. One of our best warrior veterans is now dead and another faction leader is gone.

Can we just agree that everyone got burned by this stupid war and no one came out on top?

If anything this expansion was World of Sylvanascraft, but that didn’t exactly make it “World of Hordecraft”.

(Commentary): Personally, I’ve only ever felt that the, ‘smelly green people,’ needed to be wiped out after they started wars of genocide. Even then I was pretty okay in Vanilla. Horde were out in Kalimdor for the most part, Thrall was in charge trying to keep the Horde honorable and not bloodthirsty warmongers, etc… The Forsaken were jerks, but I never really considered them to really be Horde at the time. All this said, the bigger issue is the writers deciding the Horde cannot move past this phase of starting wars of genocide. Hopefully this time is different, but then again, if you’d told me in Legion that the next expac would be us redoing MoP’s war, I’d have laughed and said that was a great joke, but the Devs would never waste our time.

And what did I get?
What was my payoff?

I got thrown in a pool of lava. What kind of burn did you endure?

You deny the orcs were under the thrall of demons, who sent them to Azeroth explicitly to wreck it. You quoted a book that lays it out very clearly and claim to have read said book, yet still you deny that fundamental truth. So spare me your fake indignation and get back to learning your lore.

They were never mind controlled.
Don’t be daft.

I know it pretty well.
Hence I know mind controlled orcs were never a thing.

Learn your vocabulary while you’re at it.

thrall means enslaved.
Where is the enslavement?

This board has been decimated (and I mean that more in the sense of reduced to 1/10, not by 1/10). I was around here when I was a Horde players before BfA. There really is nobody left. The Horde posters I remember are all gone and there aren’t that many Alliance posters left (Zerde is one of the few I recognize.)

And yes, the Alliance posters would complain about being out numbered while now I see more blue posts than red.

What was any of our payoff? The only thing the Horde got that was beneficial after it was all over was the that it continues to exist at all.

3 cinematic for your exclusive enjoyment.
Redemption.
Overhaul of your leadership.
Returning of old heroes.
Completely new characters.
Another entire expansions worth of development of “what it means to be Horde”. Again.
And of course you got to march through 2 zones and burn the last one with everyone in it.

What more do you want as a Horde player?
This is pretty much my impossible wish list if Blizzard ever bothers to make content that is Alliance focused.

Man I go to work and someone goes full admiral Rodgers on the forum, and I’m stuck on my damn phone.

Here’s the rule. If you are on a side, all the bad stuff you don’t like counts for all the grievance points. What happens to those other people? They’re just whiney spoiled babies who don’t feel your pain.

That is part human nature, and part cynical downplaying/exaggeration. Also baaaasically irrelevant. Except in that bizarre extreme circumstance like post cata and the Alliance beat down and subsequent demand for “fist pump” which was acknowledged but may or may not have actually been addressed.

Sorry for auto corrects and formatting. Phone.

Wow.
Losing what made our faction iconic is a benefit.
