That the majority of the horde pvpers were retail tourists waiting for the latest retail patch to hit.
Can we get some verification? Horde players is this true?
Can people stop using the term tourist, to try to make themselves feel elite for playing classic. Honestly kind of cringe
I’m pretty sure it means that Horde who have already ran massive numbers of battlegrounds, mostly while waiting through a 90 minute queue between each one, are not going to queue again until HvH queues are reimplemented with tomorrow’s server downtime. We will have it again soon enough, no need to sit in queues tonight.
People who use the word “cringe” are so…
Pretty much.
I can do a few BGs or I can run something or farm.
With the queues I can’t get a decent pre-made, so it’s just not remotely worth my time.
They have demonstrated that they have an answer at the flip of a switch.
I can wait.
Your posts are all you crying that the world is ending, not much room to talk.
Sounds like queues fixed themselves and HvH isn’t needed.
You really want to bet on Blizzard going with lower #s of people playing rather than more? Good luck with that.
With how much you mention it, I would not be surprised if you started in cataclysm and played every expansion thereafter.
Instant queues on the horde side effects only a small percentage of hardcore pvpers. Instant queues on the alliance side is faction destroying and affects the whole population.
Ok, we’ll find out if your ridiculous little theory here is correct. I’m going to bet Blizzard collected statistics showing that an enormous number of more Horde players were able to actually play the game, while almost no differences were found on the Alliance side. They just continued playing like they were already able to do.
It’s not a “ridiculous theory”, it literally already happened to retail. We have proof to back it up.
If your claim is that Alliance died in retail, that didn’t happen over the weekend during the HvH battleground test. Alliance as a faction were fine, they continued playing and queueing battlegrounds. Sorry that doesn’t fit your concocted narrative.
Can you explain this to me (for real not trolling). Why are instant queues destroying me?
are horde queues really 20 minutes now? if so, this is well within the “deal with it” range, and requires no HvH BG nonsense.
They have been the last few days, can confirm. Obviously there is some variance here and there.
Just tested it
WSG - 35 minutes
AB - 37 minutes
EoTs - 34 minutes
This summarizes it pretty well.
Honestly, it’s not nearly as cringe as playing retail and then trying to shove retail changes into classic.
