The horde players have made the factions so lop-sided that alliance is on its death bed now. Blizzard has already stated that the possibility of Alliance/Horde being changed into a single faction can happen. You wonder why they are talking about this? Well, maybe it’s because of the 1000+ guilds on horde that have cleared all content and the 20+ guilds on alliance that have done the same. People refusing to play blueside will ultimately kill/change the game entirely.

Bruh those are top guild it has nothing to with the faction being dead. Millions still play alliance
The balance is not that off maybe 45:55 favored to horde
Normal people do not min max for some perceived better .5% buff
You have created this pity party experience for yourself. I play on a full server and see alliance regularly. I would recommend you do the same if you want that experience

The only Alliance zone that has ever been worth playing under level sixty EVER was Duskwood. Everything else was so boring and cliche Tolkien it wasn’t worth going further than that.
Blizz killed Alliance by making it BORING and then also giving the best raiding abilities to Horde and taking too long to fix it. Once you already had your best raiders on Horde, why would you bother swapping back?

Maybe they will have a a group who decide they really hate the alliance and they form a 3rd faction bent on destroying the alliance and taking over the horde.
Putting together an abomination and unleashing it in Duskwood was one of the most memorable quests I’ve ever done in WoW in twelve years.
At that point I realized I had seen the most epic thing to ever come out of the Alliance ever.

First, alliance has high elves.
Second, blizzard making a carbon copy of blood elves and copying them to alliance won’t get people to faction change.

Blizzard hasn’t tried very hard to even things out. It is definitely Blizz’s fault. I would’ve switched to Horde too but I like the alliance themes better.
