Depending on the realm. In my opinion.
Lightbringer for example, is very heavy Alliance to Horde. I can’t say I share you’re point of view.

Spread the awareness of the “horde exodus”.
Top Alliance guilds left in droves when the Alliance was in good shape for the raiding scene. Back when the first 100 guilds to complete the new raids weren’t VASTLY horde only.
WoD was the lowest Sub count in WoW expac history and to compensate the community being dead and recruitment being crap, the Alliance guilds starting to join the Horde.
It didn’t have to be that way. The players could have chosen to have the exodus to the Alliance. It was just because the Horde retained a lot more PVP players as well.

I agree with your main post but it isn’t the players fault. It is 100% the devs fault and I am an Alliance member since day 1 of t he game. But you can’t blame people for wanting to switch factions when they reap all the benefits and rewards vs the Alliance. I just can’t bring myself to switch because I love my gnome.

I bet they will just seed AI/bot characters into the faction with the lower population. You’ll never know who is real and who isn’t.

Thank Method directly for Alliance/Horde merging in the future. No more faction wars or pvp. I think blizz is throwing in the towel on trying to balance things out. That’s why your green jesus is coming back.

Actually it never was, or at least anywhere near what it is today. The only time Alliance started really getting more players was for that racial which got nerfed to the ground (and it was a pvp racial) asap. But the Horde has been getting more and more and this expansion it has gotten way out of control. So what does Blizzard do? They give the Horde a 2nd unique mount quest chain while the Alliance still don’t have 1. Not to mention the OP racial of the Zandalari while the other Alliance AR racials are pretty meh.

You do realize the only reason it worked at the time was because they had OP racials compared to alliance races right? At this point the racials are almost evened out. Giving the aesthetics of one horde race that used to have OP racials isn’t going to change anything.
Ok let’s give Alli some op racials for 3 expansions then talk about how awesome we are! That’s sounds like Blizzard I know of

The Alliance only dominated arena, not RBGs and PVP is side content, not the main drive of the game.

It was a long battle, but all we had to do was sit around until the alliances victim complex got the best of them and they collapsed
