Horde players showing up neutrally on Amirdrassil

Your pathetic attempts to manufacture outrage are just that.

Better now then when it hits. I know I will be right because Blizzard always goes the way of ultimate alliance appeasement.

I mean, he’s half right. Losing not only their kingdom, but their racial capital to neutrality would be the biggest L the blood elves have taken since losing Kael’thas. Probably a bigger one.

Disheartening as it might be for Bel’ameth to host Horde visitors, it’s unequivocally a night elf city aligned with the Alliance. Between our world heroine’s stated goal to faction swap it and its frightful proximity to the spotlight, I’d be gobsmacked if Silvermoon survives Midnight an unequivocally blood elf city aligned with the Horde.

Prepare to be gobsmacked then. It’s about as likely for Silvermoon City to go neutral as it is for Thrall to become the next High Priestess of the Sisterhood of Elune.

Let’s not give blizzard any bright ideas now.

You underestimate Blizzard. They are vile enough to do this.

It’s definitely disheartening.
But I don’t think it’s quite as despondence-inducing as the Forsaken being thrust into positive prominence during the Reclamation of Gilneas and Horde in general being allowed to gad about the ruins of their own make without so much as a “You’re being watched, better behave” debuff.
Considering the Gilnean people lost not one but two homes to acts of Horde aggression.

Blizzard is now owned by Microsoft. Contrary to the opinion of some idiots, Microsoft doesn’t hold tanking off paranoids a greater priority over turning a buck. They tend to play a conservative gave over a franchise as old as this one.

Yeah, that is a problem. It’s also a problem we couldn’t chose to not do that if we wanted to.

Just to be clear I am a Horde main, even when I play blue side I’d be playing Horde.

I wouldn’t have started any wars without bloody good cause, IE unless the Alliance is harming Horde members or allies. I’d have not tolerated an overgrown child like Garrosh and I certainly wouldn’t have enabled the insanity that Sylvanas descended into.

Yet here we are. I’m punished and shamed for actions I would never take or supported simply because I dare to make characters that are part of the Horde. A faction that started out as a found family of outcasts fighting to make a home in a world that didn’t want them. Not this thing the Dev’s turned it into.

If it makes you feel any better, this much is probably just a bug. Everyone speaks that bur language, the guards don’t give a damn if we kill you, the kids want to kill us, and our quest givers told us to leave because the Horde is obviously not welcome in Gilneas. For how buggy the place was on patch day it wouldn’t surprise me if the NPC reactions simply weren’t toggled correctly.

I hesitate to concur, mostly because of how they handled Bel’ameth. It could be an intentional bug to gauge how much they can get away with rendering toothless, uninteresting and neutral, but then I’d be falling upon Hanlon’s razor.
Considering we’re dealing with people that gave the nation whose pastime is fox hunting a giant fox mount, I must suppose stupidity/incompetence is probably the most likely explanation.

I mean, they did make a dwarf speaker for the Earthmother

Dwarves ARE descended from Earthen.

And the Earthen ARE titan constructs, and have NOT been shown having a particularly strong connection to the Earthmother, nor have there been instances of them talking about the planet as an entity.

Unlike Tauren.

They have made a person of a Titan created race the speaker of someone that has so far been pointed out to be a Titan, that’s not an issue here.

It was also trough a titan device.

Silvermoon City was already made neutral knowing it let Ren’dorei and High Elves make pilgrimages to the Sunwell.

It’s never been a real “Horde City” as the BE’s have been struggling to reclaim in from the scourge this whole time.

One… it’s still friendly to Horde.

Two. Void Elf player characters will be attacked on sight and trigger a PVP flag while they’re in the city as will any other Alliance PC as well as Quel’thelas as well.

Want to tell me again how Silvermoon City is like Bel’a’math?

No it really really is not, all it means is that it’s an expansion’s questing hub. It’s still the capital of Quel’thalas, still the land of the sin’dorei, etc

The most that’s going to come out of that is players on both sides being able to hang out, something that’s going to be increasingly common through capitals (I think everyone who expects Bel’ameth to be closed off cross-faction after DF is still coping about their precious faction war)

Of course Silvermoon is Horde. Bob has a damm click quote(the only one of all Horde leaders) how the Horde gives them strength. Horde leaders have literally no patriotism unlike the majority of the alliance ones. That is obvious.

No? It will be the next Dalaran or Shattrath. None of these are alliance either anymore. Don’t be ignorant.

No what will happen is the the Highelf RPers and the human husbands can claim the city as their own. The flip you think the belf rpers went after Legion? They do social RP in Stormwind.

Tauren religion is utter nonsense like most Horde religions. We know by now only the light and Elune matter due to SL.

Not at this time. No.

But the warning sirens are blaring that it will be our turn next in Midnight when our capital becomes the “home of all elves.”
