Horde players list things that would make you go alliance

Not sure if Blizzard could do anything. My number one deterrent from maining alliance is the self righteous, holier than thou attitude many alliance players have.

Now I’ve played alliance and that’s not ALL of the alliance. When horde is brought up on the alliance side you get more “ew horde” comments than when the alliance is brought up horde side.

That is part of the RP. But seriously, horde are gross.

I did alliance in wod. I hated it. Stormwind is a nice city. Everything else about ally is lame.

• Less focus on humans.

• Tone humans down power-wise, let them really on other races to carry the story/lead.

• Cooler races. More diverse cultures. More skin color variety in all races.

• More greyness. Evilness. Revenge. Disputes within the faction.

• Another type of funny race. I love my goblin and forsaken humor… something that competes with that grittiness with the story.

• More smart characters lore wise. Not depending too much on raw power to save them.

• Human shamans/druids, worgen shaman, night elf/highborne shaman, mechagnome shaman, dranei rogue, Ankoan rogue/shaman/mage , stormforged humans/vrykul,

• Deletion of horde.

My heart belongs to the horde. My experience has already imprinted I doubt I’ll go alliance ever. But I would play my alliance alts more if I can transfer gold between them and my horde guys.

We have a “trash garrison” because Blizzard didn’t finish our garrison, spending more time on the Alliance garrison. Horde bias I know.

I’ve never played Horde and have always been Alliance, however one thing that always bothered me is how the Alliance hasn’t gotten the spotlight in a VERY long time. We’ve had Anduin take the spotlight, but not the Alliance. The other leaders are so underutilized it hurts. Ever since MoP everything that happens in the story happens because the Horde does something first, the Alliance are basically the supporting cast at this point.

Also the fact that the Alliance have been transformed into this moral high ground garbage with some naive idiot like Anduin leading us. Genn embodies the modern Alliance way better than Anduin imo. More focus needs to be put on Genn, Tyrande, and Malfurion.

Actually, when they showcased WoD, they showcased the Alliance aspects as far as I can remember. Also, yes,they were still shipping basic features long after launch.

So I want to see what could happen that would make you play alliance.

That’s an interesting question. In my case, I don’t think much of anything can make me go Alliance. It is not a question about racials, races or anything about that.
I’ve always joined the “Underdog” faction in any MMO I’ve ever played, always the more “primal” one in a way. Seeing how alliance is more rooted in conventional human-like structures, etc, I feel a lot of fantasy is removed. Seeing all this cool (in my opinion) architectures like silvermoon and orgrimmar (to some extent, it is quite barren) adds to my enjoyment of the game.

It might just be because I didn’t give alliance a fair shake, but I simply don’t like the fact that so much of the story is centered around humans and human-like principles.

There’s no difference between the factions. Anyone that’s actually played both sides for more than a month knows this.

Many players play both sides too. The players you’re judging could main Horde.

I’ve been playing Alliance most of the time I’ve been on WoW. But I’m really needing a change.
I also recently got into PvP. And I have never seen so many people trying to make enemies of their own team (either by trolling or yelling at everyone and being generally rude).

Though I am sad that Horde is sort of being forced to be the bad guys in story recently.

Things that would get me to change Alliance? Two things, the ability to faction change and keep my race, and the ability to still play with my Horde guild while I was playing Alliance. Give me those and I’d swap before the announcement of them was even cold.

If the alliance gets more interesting stories and characters. Give me game of thrones levels of betrayal and overthrowing and perhaps ill roll an alliance toon. As it stands their too goody two shoe and it makes me want to puke. For the dark lady!

Alliance needs way better selections of unique races along with better race mounts. Seriously who the hell needs a barn filled with horses. No thanks. These issues need to be fixed b4 I find anything wrong with the Horde. Oh ya and ……Anduin as a leader?
