Horde players list things that would make you go alliance

So I want to see what could happen that would make you play alliance.

In classic we see that Horde is more popular than alliance and that’s without blood elves.

For me if the alliance got Manari instead of Lightforged draenei that could be warlocks or rogues I would have played alliance.

If worgen were able to use their worgen form instead of cat form that would also make me play alliance.

If the alliance got more monster races, I would be up to play alliance… also if alliance story wasn’t so heavily focused on humans and allowed other races in the spotlight

alliance-friendly goblins, or dwarf druids. i’d join if they got one of the other goblin cartels on their side. or they got dwarven druids. i want short druids dammit!

A story where the alliance gets to be proactive instead of reactive.
Or really any story at all.
Not that the Horde’s had it good either lately.

What I’m saying is, fix the writing.

Not sure if Blizzard could do anything. My number one deterrent from maining alliance is the self righteous, holier than thou attitude many alliance players have.

Now I’ve played alliance and that’s not ALL of the alliance. When horde is brought up on the alliance side you get more “ew horde” comments than when the alliance is brought up horde side.

Something…anything I could relate to.

Closest I can get to play on the blue team is a dwarf, and that’s simply because of my LoTRs obsession and Gimli.

No disrespect to the Alliance, every player has different tastes and I respect that.

As a Alliance/Horde player since 2005, been mostly Horde though. Went back to Alliance cause I’m sick of the garbage architecture on Horde and the whole lemming mentality of the Horde has become a joke at this point.

Worgen tails.

If Worgen tails happen I will go Alliance and not look back at any of my Horde 120s.

If the Horde storyline was 100% headed by Sylvanas and the Forsaken’s narrative, no second option, no resistance movement story.

Thing that made me go Alliance was more consistency.

The Horde is just a gargled mess of story, characters and conflicting themes that usually end nowhere interesting. Every other year or so you get the same “Are we the baddies?” storyline.

Also Alliance music and cities are just way better.

actually, i’ve been playing alliance a lot this expansion… just goes to show, you force the horde to be the bad guys, and i swap sides. like, i can stand playing a bad-guy, but i don’t like being forced into it. i did’nt want to burn the tree dangit!

How so? I’m curious to know why you think that.

My experience Alliance side is the only time you directly attack The Horde storywise is Stormheim. And not like Genn gives you a choice.

Horde faction leaders dying and all of the alliance vanilla faction leaders still being alive is a bad thing in my book.

"For the Alliance " achievement literally only requires the alliance to kill Lorthermar and Baine… while every alliance faction leader since vanilla still exist.

I’d play a Horde character if they fixed Nightborne.

But damn they ruined the models so much.

I already have some Alliance alts to unlock Heritage armors… I’m goin’ to assume by “go Alliance” you mean make that my main character.

Vrykul. It’s the only race in the Warcraft universe I would make my main in a heartbeat. Let me be either a Vrykul Warrior or Vrykul Shaman and let me have my Viking thunder god fantasy.

A Man’ari Warlock would be really close to make me main Alliance, but not quite as much as a playable Vrykul.
