You think blizzard makes changes to something they said they wouldnt change unless the playerbase wanted it changed lightly?
It appears the #nochanges crew wanted the bugs left in the game to simply exploit it. The other #nochanges players just want a fixed working playable game for all
God almighty you seem to think everyone who enjoys pvp is in it for some hardcore ranking.
God forbid some of us actually want enjoyable/close/even pvp rather than uneven slaughterfest’s.
Not everyone on Horde and Alliance is 19 and doing this for the first time.
1 premade vs pug in wsg will still take you longer to complete than a zerg rush in Av.
Yes we did get what we asked for. Bg’s that have pvp.
Alliance players that dont start 10vs 40 Queues only matter to people who have taken 2 months off work to hardcore rank.
<Pats Demoneye gently on the head, “Now now, little one, you need to grow up before you can come join the adult conversations. Now go back to the bouncy castle with the other kids”.>
They did absolutely nothing to address the core issue - faction imbalance. I doubt they will so they slapped a bandaid on an oozing wound.
But since you’re all for a game that’s “fair to all”, I’m sure you’re on board with moving the horde cave back and fixing any and all back doors into the keeps, right?
I did a few AV today as Alliance and the games started evenly matched. No 5v40 starts. Most started with 38 or more Alliance players. Of course, Alliance lost every game. There is only so much the devs can fix. lol
I am legitimately asking this question. What can they actually do about imbalance. It’s not like they can force people to switch factions. Truly am looking for your honest answer to that problem.
Creates unique server identities. It doesnt need to be changed.
They added a change to stop a faction from leaving bg ques that was causing games to start 10 v 40 - working as inteneded.
They also released bg’s 2 months early to help assist the lower populated faction from being excessively camped in the open world - working as inteneded.
The TBC version of av - with the horde cave moved BUT without reinforcements (because that just promotes pushing the enemy into the cave for 600 kills to win) would be the ‘fairest’ fix yes.
Premades caused Blizzard to have a setting that allowed games to start with fewer than 20 players? I don’t disregard premades played a part in it, but blaming them for a setting that needed fixed?
Yeah and it was literally impossible to make a change to where a game won’t start without at least 30 people per side and have that be the only change, huh?
That is all i do is casual pvp with guildies in WSG. I don’t partake in the grind. I have said as much many times so I am not sure what you are going on about.
They released bgs early because players (streamers) had cleared MC and had nothing to do until BWL was released. Can we stop acting like they did this for alliance?
Sure, can you concede as well that players having no content after having cleared MC much faster than they anticipated was a big part of why bgs were released early?
To anyone that actually legit thought MC would take any longer than 2 weeks to clear is kidding themselves.
Because players were leaving the game and ending their subscriptions because they couldnt play the actual game. I feel bad these players choose the wrong server type because some streamer with 50k followers told them too.
Pvp realm has always been red = dead and never fair or balanced.
The released bg’s early knowing it would kil wpvp because players would be back and forth from the battle masters to play bg’s - this very same thing happened in vanilla.
You could say the same about anyone who chose horde for classic. I chose alliance because I fully expected horde to be the dominant faction. Anyone who actually legit thought horde would not be sitting in long queues because of faction imbalance is kidding themselves.
The irony in all of this is that if horde had instant queues, they would do exactly what alliance did while alliance would do exactly what horde are doing.
MC was not cleared in 2 weeks in vanilla. Not even close.
