Horde overreacted. Blizzard changes killed the AV premade

It’s only going to get worse as far as long ques go, considering half their teams these days cave camp for 20 minutes after taking SP. I’m about effing done. Just done. Their new meta seems to be "roflstomp them and make sure they don’t even get to kill a LT, “I saw a warlock behind galv, send 20 to kill him”. lol. Seriously tho, I just /afk’d out for the first time in my life after getting yet another backfill into a lost map and immediately ganked by an undead rogue who was camping outside the cave…just can’t anymore man. And then I’ll be back their later tonight, once again having all hope dashed.

I’ve seen posts dating back before the changes from alliance players asking for the exact changes that were made…

Oh hey! It’s this thread again. People are still angry they cannot premade and still trying to blame the Horde.

I’m angry that alliance teams won’t get on the same page…you should see our raid chat man…ffs. Someone will present a plan, then as soon as we start riding south someone else starts spamming a different plan in /rw. Then a third person starts whining “do turn ins, please, I need rep”. Then our obligatory 5 afkers.

Maybe 10 people try the original plan, 4 more go straight to kill LTs, another 10 try the other plan…and everything fails.

Every game “defend SH” which turns into "get held in your little cubby GY with one path out until SF and SH are capped by Horde…then lose SH and rez in your little cubby of a graveyard with only one exit at SP, ride south, get farmed at the Icewing Chokepoint where their is literally just one little path thru. Then after SH caps for Horde, get farmed at SP graveyard where you’re stuck in a cubby and people can shoot straight thru the mountain. Then, once you lose SP…just hope Horde doesn’t have 15-20 camping the cave entrance…lol

I wish I could just quit wanting to rank…then I could just stick to world PvP…

I can understand and sympathize. Some time horde chat can get obnoxious, but I really cannot imagine how awful yours must be. =(

I don’t think anyone could foresee the Alliance reaction to breaking premades would be to go on full non-participatory.

You got it bad, but people cannot confuse the outcome of a change with the reason a change was made in the first-place.

i just want to know the premade vs premade in WSG win rate of both factions. im pretty sure its 50-50indicating faction balance and skill is evenly distributed if not alliance favored

but hell - BrInG bAcK aV pReMaDeS (because i want easy honor farm and not have to work for a high pvp rank)

except everyone?

who’s ranking in AV???

Me, obviously…lol

makes no sense

I’m fairly certain this BG will be going the way of the doo doo bird sometime after phase 5.

Most alliance are in it for rep rewards. But by that point they will either all have it, or the loot from ZG AQ and Naxx will trump it.

And there are very few new players filtering into the system to keep this BG going.

Add to the fact ya need 40 for participation and que times will spike hard! Once que times get to a certain threshold they will further remove incentive to que. (as why would someone que for a BG that rarely ever pops?)

Oh lord. Ya won the battle but lost the war!

Should a kept the premades in.

The attitude from AV premades was incredibly toxic and i’m glad it’s gone.

Sure was.

But that was a small price to pay for the ability to actually play the BG. If breaking up the ability to premade was the catalyst of the downfall of this BG.

I really don’t care, I just love observing how all this is playing out as expected.

LMFAO.

So starting 30% closer just isnt enough for Horde? You have to flip it around and say Alliance have an advantage… Thr BG favors Horde in every way shape form.

Honestly, the attitudes and insults from random people in these losing AVs is worse tho…

It’s like, “plan?” “Let’s try …” “Ok, lets do that. Everyone we’re going …” few people say ok, rush goes, no objections, not enough hit the objective, plan fails, then out of the woodwork “that never works losers!” “Why are you guys such homophobic slur?” “I can’t believe alliance hasn’t learned yet! You always have to something else they didn’t say until after failure.” It’s really worse than the repetitive losing…

Premade WSG on my server is like an exclusive club I have yet to get into, because DPS is rarely needed and going in a pug is just asking to come out with nothing.

AV I can average at least 5600 an hour easy, even with all losses, just farming HKs after everything goes south. While WSG premades average about 6600 an hour so it’s not that much more.

While I am on a PvP server, it’s still like pulling teeth to get Alliance to engage in world PvP. We can get something going 10v10 in Arathi or whatever, and then horde want in on it which is great…but they wind up with 30 and we’ll still have 10. Hell, on Deviate Delight we let rogues camp Menethil Harbor all day long and rarely do anything about it. They’ll be 3 in Ironforge ganking and 15 alliance standing around the bank not evening flagging…it’s ridiculous. Sometimes wish I’d had rolled Horde, but while the racial skills are way better, I’m not a fan of the aesthetic…

It’s whatever.

Roll over on a PVE realm maybe?
No one really bats an eye over flagging to play find the rogue in IF
and TM vs SS matches usually have way more than 10 vs 10

And later, after the match has died off and you are unflagged, the tauren
who stomped you 3 times in it might help you out in ungoro when the devilsaur jumps you.

Premades kept the afkers and retail “how does pvp system work” scrubs out of the games. Now we are back to pve realmers hiding in graveyards with their bis raid gear.

Pfffft.

I’m living proof this is paranoid nonsense.

lol, it is much more than that.
