Oh speaking of fish someone dropped one in that IoC but people spammed “DONT EAT THE FISH” and I don’t think anyone did.

That’s exactly what I am saying. Stop telling players how horde are doing great things for alliance while ignoring the horde who are not.

What about the Alliance who aren’t doing good things for the Alliance?

Poopy people abound. I’m guessing your side has more than ours, actually. We’re the good guys, and here to help.

How about no? You and Than cover the bad enough. I cover the good.

Yeah I meant to like my own.

Alright here’s my two cents.

First of all, there is a reason for the the massive and growing numbers deviation between Horde and Alliance factions. Why? its pretty obvious in my opinion that our nature is to want to win and therefore has triggered the gravitation towards Horde. You can spew stats all day long how they are balanced, however i’ve played thousands of BG’s just since BFA and i’m probably sitting between a 30-35% win ration across all my toons. I’ve seen the stat padding that goes on in BG’s watching alliance bail before the loss and after as many bg’s as i’ve played you start to see a pattern with players so bottom line the stats provided are not accurate by any capacity.

Second, Alliance has enough struggles, for example, our groups start short players which we all know the first few minutes of any BG can greatly determine the outcome. This is done so Horde can have reduced Queue times. There are also Bg’s with Bots, which are programmed and do not follow a specific strategy another tactic to fill the queues faster. Then there is another more subtle issue but one ive been tracking, I’ve encountered and will go out of my way to encounter 1v1;s vs same class and spec. Its not the win or loss i’m looking at its the blow for blow damage and i’ve been out damaged in most 1v1 situations by double and even higher using the same abilities, also by players often with lower and sometimes much lower ilvl’s… This “hints” that there is another underlying problem that favors the Horde.

Third, we have have the Gear Score or Ilvl porblem. This begs the question why do horde have such high ilvl’s and how do they acquire so fast. But despite this, there is an ongoing criticism in BG’s towards people who are under geared or perception of under geared. I remember when people were complaining about people with GS less than 315 and now the complaining starts at 380. These are casual bg’s, some people play only to PVP, they pay like anyone else and should be entitled to play in a fair and competitive environment. The problem is not the player its the matchmaking system and personally i think we need to go to a PVP gear system (almost similar to the former system) but one where PVE gear has no value in PVP. basically a toon with even one piece of PVP gear would outmatch a person with no PVP gear regardless of the PVE lvl.

We like to point fingers at Players but the problem stems from the Top including this problem of sabotage. So while were beating each other up they continue to play puppet master with the game. Great diversion tactic if you ask me not dissimilar to the way politics work but that’s another subject lol. The real people accountable are the ones who run this game and who allow these problems to exist and continue. It does frustrate me that this sabotage does occur, and i need to mention that i have played with many Horde Mercs who are legit, but nonetheless its does happen and needs to be addressed however, if we spend our time pointing fingers at each other the real catalyst, being Blizz, will not change anything.

Thats my take so take it however you like lol

Cheers!

One reason for the hordes higher ilvl is the ease at which they can get into 10+ mythics. When my DH was horde and had a zero IO score and an ilvl of 382 I was able to get into M+. The player base is much larger. On alliance my xferred DH who is now ilvl 409 with an io of 1045 still gets denied for 10+. This hunter with zero IO can barely get a 4.

You can get to ilv400 without doing a single mythic dungeon or raid … plus alliance also have AOO on top of it .

Yes sir/ma’am we know that an ilvl of 400 is attainable w/o stepping foot into mythics or raids. The poster above my last wondered why horde ilvl s seemed to be higher and I gave a response regarding my experiences from both factions.

So basically if alliance would do WQ’s… they won’t be at a gear disadvantage

hey Raffern, I’ve seen you in a few epics

You make some good points

It would help!
When I wasn’t silenced I’d ask the very low geared toons if they knew there were easy avenues to hear via WQ and warfronts. The normal response was “I don’t pve.” Okay reckful. I loathe pve but grinded 1k+ io on my DH since the gear is so good. I also plan on raiding in classic for the same reason.

^ This is so true

I mostly do M+ keys on my Protection Warrior (… for obvious FoTM reasons  ), but on my Guardian Druid I started getting accepted to 10 keys despite only being like 550-600 raider io score.

There are simply more Mythic+ PUGs listed at any given time on the Horde, so your chances of getting into a 10+ key are just better/higher. Of course, like you mentioned, this directly translates into better gear on average for Horde players.

A 410+ gear piece every single week (from weekly chest), over the course of multiple weeks, will add up to a decent advantage over Alliance players who might still be in the 385-395 range. This isn’t even factoring in that there are more active raiding guilds on the Horde side, so that also improves Horde’s gear relative to Alliance :joy:

Even gearing up alts seems a little easier on Horde, the fresh Nightborne alt that I leveled up earlier this month is already getting into +5’s and +6’s despite 0 io score and only having welfare gear/World Quest gear.

lol…its funny how people will pick one thing from a post, article, argument, w/e, in this case the mentioning of gear, and focus completely on that aspect and miss the point of the entire argument all together and then translate it to suit there personal agenda… I see that often in today’s society so its no wonder problems never get solved lol.
Just to be clear when i mentioned gear it was also followed by a “despite”. And the point i was making regarding gear is PVP should be its own entity since PVP and PVE are two individual aspects of the game. People pay the same amount and just want to PVP and should not be criticized for it, if someone just wants to PVE they don’t have to PVP to get gear do they? Non one says your gear sucks go PVP until you level up lol, therefore a system should be in place to make a clear distinction gear wise between PVP and PVE, but the bottom line is that this is not a player issue its a game “design” issue and rather than point fingers at each other focus on the source of the problem.

Cheers!

I was just answering your question.

The question was rhetorical in nature and therefore wasn’t really a question which is why it was followed by a “despite” and was irrelevant to the principal of my entire argument. Anyway just clarifying

Cheers as always!
