Horde Merc Mode Sabotage

So now horde mercs are dropping feast of the fish in BGs. It left about twelve of us there. Couldn’t disenchant it, right click wouldn’t disable it, and even if we left and came back, we’re still fish.

And of course we lost badly. We didn’t even have the horde west gate to 50% before they won.

THIS NEEDS TO BE DISABLED IN PVP because any horde can do that while merc mode but Alliance can’t do anything similar to them.

Do I know better now? Sure, but there’s always going to be a few who don’t.

You can just ummm, right click it off?

I’ve fallen for this trolly prank myself, the first time it took me a while to fgure out I could just right click it off

No, you CAN’T. Even if you right click it, the icon at top right disappears but you’re still a fish.

You just sit there and can’t do anything.

I’ve noticed the merc trolling has intensified.

Bragging about it, too.
Merc mode is set up to either benefit the horde so they have a lower queue time or, if they so desire, they can use it to sabotage the Alliance, either by inaction/throwing the game or by things like the fish, which I assume will now catch on.

Well, now that you brought this idea to everyone’s attention…

In an effort to get it fixed. That’s only one way the Alliance gets kneecapped by merc mode.
Horde get to choose if they want a shorter queue time or if they want to sabotage Alliance BGs.

I haven’t seen any.

Of course you haven’t, Juga, everything is sunshine and roses in your Azeroth.
I was actually shocked when you admitted that Alliance lose in Epics. Probably because you were losing and had to have SOME reason.
Of course, if you just play the metrics and work really hard, your win rate should be at 60%. I think that was your advice.

1 person makes much more of a difference in the 10/15 mans over 40 players.

I knew there had to be some kind of excuse.

Work harder.

Really, if so make sure to submit a bug report.

I just don’t queue epics as much

I did, but how long will that take?

And it still doesn’t fix the problem that horde can tank an Alliance BG anytime they want because they are being depended on to play FOR the Alliance. Such an easy abuse.

Heck, if I were horde, I’d do it because there is literally nothing Blizzard can do short of ending Merc Mode and they won’t do that because horde players will whine.

Good thing people aren’t like you.

Too bad horde are already doing it.
Again, nothing can be done about it, so they’ll keep doing it.

I haven’t seen any, and done many BGs

And like your unnatural win streak you assume everyone is nice and does the right thing.

You’re kinda like Superman in that. Unfortunately, boy scout, I live in Gotham.

And you assume the worst of everyone. I bet the person you’re accusing of the feast is actually Alliance.

No, I’m actually an optimist in most areas of my life.

You bet…wait, what? Seriously, please, you weren’t there, I was, but you have all the facts. SPECIFICALLY why do you think it was an Alliance player?

Someone who says “Stinky Alliance” or whatever he said and then laughs because its funny to watch Alliance lose kinda makes me think it’s horde.

I don’t believe in the multiverse theory, but if it were true, there’s a universe where an Alliance player has never lost a BG – ever. But you and I know that’s just odds talking and clearly not a reasonable assumption to judge the Alliance experience.
