My problem, as an Alliance player, isn’t the AOO or any free rewards. At first, I tried to level using WarMode as a fun way of leveling faster. But it stopped being a fun way to level when I realized my server was 70% Horde. I just started my Kul Tiran. I was ten minutes into playing when I was chased away from the quest area by two Troll Druids that outleveled me by at least ten levels. So, as a responsible player, I didn’t switch over to a 120 and camp them. I just moved to a different area… only to get camped by a 120 Demon Hunter. I know most of you would say, “Just turn off Warmode”. Yes, I could. But wouldn’t that defeat the purpose? Why have that if you get camped anyways? Why World PvP if that means you spend the next hour with a raid geared Demon Hunter t-bagging your level 20? It’s pathetic. But it happens every time I get on Warmode. That’s my say on this, but let me finish by saying that it never happened to me on Horde.
You’re posting on a 120 Alliance rogue. Time to make it happen to people on Horde!
Yes because rewarding bad behavior with more bad behavior is clearly the superior option here. ![]()
You are actually so dense Irisse.
These people were scumbags. Ganking lowbies is pathetic.
horde complains alliance gets free loot from AOO
horde killing low level alliance players/quest givers in duskwood and northern STV so alliance lowbies have to turn off warmode to level, resulting in less allies with warmode on
lol
Or Alliance complains and get’s AOO. Take your pick
Question – which faction got welfare gear because they can’t keep up? I keep forgetting.
your statement contains no argument. You are just pointing out alliance are complaining about being killed.
I am merely stating how illogical it is to complain alliance get aoo loot when they are essentially forcing alliance players to turn off war mode to level, causing aoo in the first place
Both faction gets welfare gear from warfronts/titanforging, alliance got one extra piece of 400 for one week, and suddenly that’s causing a lot of very vocal horde members to be sore in the butt for weeks to come
They’re not forcing them to do anything. If alliance Would PvP they would be safe. The problem is people are too soft and can’t handle running back to their corpse.
Even now leveling some of my alts I run into Alliance. I kill some, I die some. I don’t run to the forums and write a novella about it.
No we just like pointing out that Alliance was given free gear because they can’t hang and still attempt to act like they’re having hard times.
That’s because there really isn’t one. Alliance complained and thus received the AOO quest. I highly doubt it was because Horde complained but I have no proof just as you have no proof. So again, take your pick
Oh and about being outnumbered…and the AOO quest was born.
The AOO quest is given by the imbalance of 120s with WM not the lower levels. Your statement is factually incorrect.
i don’t mind fighting warmode
when i am getting killed on my low level it forces me to log on to my main to defend myself, which means i can’t level while fighting them off,
also, the problem is they are killing the quest givers
i literally cannot turn in quests
how am i suppose to level without quest npcs?
While ignoring the fact that the reason Horde got to be the majority faction in PVP in the first place was welfare racials, yes.
you have a blue post supporting that factual statement? I havent seen or heard it being officially disclosed how AOO works to track the percentage of wm players active.
and also, my statement is not incorrect. My character with wm off at level 23 will most likely still have it off at 120 if i have no incentive to do wm, hence, you know, aoo?
Change your narrative or provide proof because you’re a broken record with that yet failed to back it up. I believe most went Horde because they’re more attracted to the lore.
It’s been discussed in multiple threads and was confirmed that the AOO quest is given by the amount of 120s with WM on not the total of all characters.
How does that make any difference? The AOO quest is given based on 120s with WM on with low levels having no consideration. Oh and there are plenty of people that leave WM off while leveling and then turn it on once they reach cap or maybe you’re just a PVEer. Doesn’t matter because you don’t equal or represent the rest of your faction…hence, AOO total of 120s with WM
I mean, that’s world pvp baby. Been doing that since Vanilla. Would log out my main in STV near Nesingwary’s and if someone decided to kill my alt I’d have my main right there ready to go.
Those shouldn’t be killable, specially if it’s a neutral faction quest giver. Also the bait goes away too.
Hahahaha ok, Human Racial. Because THAT wasn’t the absolute god tier for 3 expansions. “Oh know Orcs can stack a PvP talent for fractions of a second less in CC, OP!”
Imagine thinking Horde is better because .3 seconds less of being stunned. Damn. Rough times!
im sorry how was this confirmed? you are summarizing multiple threads which i have somehow missed even though i browse the forums daily so i am going to need a bit more detail on the methodology of how these results came to be
you are not catching on so i guess i’ll explain in a bit more detail.
i am a player leveling up as a low level. I wanted to level faster WM seemed to give me +15% experience, seems sweet, turns on wm
I got camped by horde 120s at multiple major nodes which makes it hard to level so i had to turn wm off at level 20-120.
now that i am 120, I noticed how smooth leveling and game play was without being constantly killed by higher leveled horde players
so i keep warmode off
why would i turn it on? i wouldn’t
this is exactly why they had to offer AOO to begin with, because alliance members at 120 DON’T want to turn warmode on.
Don’t waste your time with Spankn.
so i just went grocery shopping and finished lunch, decided to log on to my alt to level, as i logged in the same 4 horde from mal ganis are still killing all the quest npcs in nessingway.
yep, logging back out
It was said by blizz but I’m not going to go looking for the post. Several users on Alliance side have confirmed as well. Yes, you missed it so I guess you’re not that observant. The fact the AOO quest is ONLY for 120s should give you a huge hint. Wouldn’t make sense to count lower levels.
Oh no I understood what you’re trying to say but your situation doesn’t apply to everyone. That ONLY applies to you so using your example as the norm and not the exception wouldn’t be correct.
Because you’re a PVEer? Heck I don’t know that only a question for you to answer.
Or Alliance had it turned on and kept getting wrecked so they turned it off or a large portion of Alliance are PVEers and don’t care for wPVP. In any event, Alliance made the choice and Alliance complained to Blizz. That still wouldn’t make any of your original statements true.
Don’t hate the player bruh, hate the game.
