If you’re talking PvP, the easy side is which ever side has the biggest faction imbalance.
Pro players know this and roll the under dog because it’s not fun to roll around in a group of 10+ players to kill the same 2 opposite faction members, that’s for mouth breathers.
All the bad players who rolled horde en masse will seriously feel the pain when BGs are released and they are waiting 10+ minutes with hardly a single person to kill in the world.
If you have half a brain you will support faction balance because it is good for the overall quality of PvP.
I almost rolled Alliance for Classic, to play a Paladin. Actually got to about 20 on Ally side a couple of times, and just couldn’t do it (I’ve pretty much always played Horde, except for a brief period during late WoD/early Legion). It’s such a different feel and game on the other faction.
I’ve had a Paladin since BC on the Horde side, but didn’t really start tanking until WotLK, so I’d like to experience the Classic Paladin toolkit at some point.
Get over yourself Excalidor. I don’t know what your problem with me is, but you don’t know me, and you don’t know what I do in game. I don’t engage in ganking, ever. I don’t find it fun. If you’re getting ganked and taking it out on me, just switch to a PvE server and save yourself the grief.
You aren’t missing much most of it is straight up dead on arrival. If you’re tanking bubble is out of the question, seal of wisdom/righteousness is what you will use, and you get to have one buff at a time which more than likely is going to be sanctuary.
It seems like there is a lot of stuff until you realize you can only use one at a time which pretty much makes the variety not mean a lot when used. I play a paladin in classic because I’ve been loyal to the paladin class in any rpg I have ever played where it is an option, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody for classic it’s not good.
…I played this pally through vanilla, look at the date on my Knight-Lieutenant title, and Pally’s were crap in tanking until BC…no one wanted to group with prot or ret pally’s…in BC I saw the first prot pally that was good and he could do anything any other tank could do, his secret was wearing cloth piece so he always had enough mana…he was good…
Eh, I originally rolled Alliance on Grob to hang with forum posters… but then I realized they had enough big guild/community groups that it would be more fun Horde side… and Undead ftw!!
If you’re gonna post on the Classic forums, might I suggest choosing one of your WoW Classic characters as an avatar?
And it’s not easy mode, perception on enemy rogues and stone form on anyone is annoying. I have to skip through my first blind and blow 8 seconds on any dwarf I fight, and humans spot me first. How are you enjoying those racials? I’m enjoying my WoTF against warriors and priests. I still get death coiled.
Can quest completely uncontested on a PvP server all the way to 30.
Important Warlock starting pet quests all on Kalimdor/Barrens.
Almost all dungeons are uncontested in their path to them until you hit 45. Only exception is if you wanna gear up a rogue twink.
SM is an essential level 30-45 dungeon zone hub completely uncontested for horde allowing for PvE bluewalling on Horde Side only.
Oh, look, yet another spineless loser on the Alliance side hiding behind their retail character. Painting Horde as the “easy mode faction” isn’t going to make you suck any less at the game. /moo
Horde leveling is easier at every single stage of play; I have both horde and alliance characters.
Horde has the ideal location sites for capital cities and flight paths. Excluding Black Rock Mountain access it’s a sweet deal for all the rest of the game content.
Also horde questing is in general easier. Factor in world PvP in a PvP server and the margin is even greater.
