Horde High Elves is a lie

I’ve interacted with Keyboardturner for a pretty long while now, and I’ve never really seen them do anything but report the datamines and offer speculation. Hell, based on what we know now from Blizzard, it’d look like they were correct.

So… cute babyrage at least?

Don’t know why people getting hyped about it. Just elves in this game just look the same to me on both faction, just recolored and different hair style. Basically it.

Well, you’re nobody. You have no call on what is or isn’t canon to the games universe.

If Ion says Blood Elves have evolved beyond being High Elves, then they have evolved beyond being High Elves, until he says otherwise, or a writer does.

You’re free to dislike that of course.

alliance already has high elves. and so do the horde.
blood elves are nothing more than high elves who had a nasty fel habit for a while and got a faction change in the process.
void elves are just blood elves who failed rehab and got hooked on the void instead and swapped back.

and incidentally BOTH variations are really just mutant trolls with a crippling magic addiction.

high elves already exist, both factions already have access to them, just cus they don’t look and act how you “think” they should look doesn’t change that fact. WoW has always had a tendency to break away from the stereotypes of the genre.

if you want to play legolas so damn bad, lotro is still around. (and actually a pretty fun game, although I personally end up getting as far as the shire then getting stuck drinking and growing pipe-weed)

this topic once again got bumped.

out of respect for all horde players wanting to be a blue-eyed blood elves and got basically wrecked, it is now time for mourning.

in fairness, I am actually of the opinion that alliance SHOULD be given high elves… they should just all use the withered/forsaken model… after all, the high elves have been exiled from the sunwell for well over a decade now, they gotta be feeling the effects. it would only make sense for the lore after all.

But they would consider themselves human.

Just as Blood elves consider themselves elves, and High elves consider themselves elves, AND Night elves consider themselves elves. I’m not seeing your point here. They are all elves, they are all just different races of the same species.
