Horde High Elves is a lie

I had the Alpha and the Beta for BFA and… had 3 blue eyed options for my Blood Elves there. And guess what? Didnt happen. Didnt come into game. So do you honestly think it is going to come in this time? No. They said it was going to last time and it did not.

That was the EXACT reason why I asked to never have another Alpha or Beta again becuase they did that. Gave us something really cool, then removed it.

Oh and BTW. Blue Eyed elves are actually Alliance. They first came into the lore as playable in Warcraft 2. Then in WoTLK they had a presence.

It was believed by many that in Cata, Alliance players were going to get the High Elves while Horde would get the Taunka. The Taunka did OFFICIALLY join the Horde after the events of the Wrathgate over 10 years ago…and we still have none of either one… why? Oh I know why… that was when Blizzard changed out the dev team, brought in RBGs which I was opposed to, changed our talent trees and removed our glyphs and spell levels which the majority were opposed to and saw the largest drop in sub count from a single patch in WoW history.

Want to know what I think this really is? Just another empty promise.

Blue Eyed Blood Elves are NOT BLOOD ELVES where we now have over 10,000 different elf choices This is world of elf craft now so I lost track of what they are actually called.

I had them on my Horde toons that I copied over, BUT they are actually Alliance in the lore. Never in WoW history did they say they were Horde. But they are now? How? Fan service retconning thats how. Make them Alliance. NOT Horde. If you really want to fit the lore.

AND… it would help with the faction imbalance problem with so many players going Horde…

I had to faction change this toon to Alliance becuase my cloak quest was glitched Horde side and I was unable to begin it on Horde Once it is finished I may go back to the Horde.

Thats all TL;DR reference title

1.The Datamined blue eyes were nothing like High elf eyes.
High elves are more natural looking instead of bold simple shining blue.

2.A dataminer already said the blue eyes were not for belf.
Keyboardturner on twitter, give her some credit.

3.The eyes clearly looked like Void elves.

And seeing how they share the rig with Blood elves, it’s not hard to believe the files were un-organized. Eyes are a separate part entity from the face now.

It makes perfect sense considering all glowing eyes races are getting touch ups.

4.I hate this community, because they overreacted without doing fact checking

I couldn’t care less. If it does make it into the game and annoy the alliance high elf supporters then I’ll chuckle a bit but overall…nope don’t care.

I think most people feel this way

Point #1 You are correct. The eyes were poorly done, seemed a neon blue and very pixelated as well as floating in front of the faces. NOT Death Knight eyes as I copied my warrior and rogue over.

Point #2 You are also correct and that is why I wondered why they put the blue eyes in to begin with and then ignored all feedback regarding them.

Point #3 You are incorrect. They actually looked like they were a failed attempt at making them glow very brightly. NOT Void Elf eyes as I copied my warrior over and it was a Blood Elf at the time. VW eyes were darker. These eyes were very bright blue.

Point#4 I did my fact checking. So much of it infact that I was one of the posters who told Blizzard NOT to bring in the Blue eyes in their current state for two reasons, one, they were poorly done and most importantly reason number two, they are Alliance for Blue eyes. THAT is what fits the lore. it has been that way for nearly two decades do why change it now.

This didn’t need another thread.

Yes it did becuase they are going Horde which is against the lore. I want this game to be as realistic as possible. NO LORE MISTAKES.

First off, they are NOT Blue Eyed Blood elves. As people keep incorrectly calling them. They are High Elves. Only some of the high elves got corrupted by the fel and lost their blue eyes and they were then unable to go back into the Alliance as Garathos would not allow it. So they then called themselves Blood Elves.

When they were cleaned they should have had blue eyes, but their energy was refilled and so they got the gold eyes instead.

It didn’t need another thread because you said nothing new. People have said the same exact things you said here. You didn’t do your fact checking there. It’s been said on Wowhead, it’s been said here, etc.

Blue eyed blood elves are likely going to happen. It’s going to be fine. It makes sense because the Sunwell is both Holy and Arcane. This game doesn’t matter that much that it’s worth obsessing over something so tiny like blue eyed blood elves.

BfA lore in its entirety is a mistake.

Which server though?

Because i truly have no clue what you were talking about.

But i’ll give this a read…

okay so people are arguing against her posts but i have not seen any “expose” facts.

“The glowing eyes match the blood elves perfectly”.

I mean… it’s a shared rig, all colors of the rainbow would fit them perfectly.

then you didnt read snowsong post about her twitter responses with the biased data miner with an agenda

you literally were arguing with me previously that blood elves arent high elves. its just not worth my time to continue with you

No sweety, we are the bloodelves. We changed our name to make a bold statment, saying “we are high elves” is an insult to everything we stand for and spits on the fallen who died defending the sunwell. We arn’t high elves anymore, we are Blood elves.
