I think the point he is making is that while Kul Tirans got a unique model, they’re still humans. Genetically Vulpera aren’t related to any playable race, which is a break in the current mold of how allied races work
And again, you can argue “biologically new” all you want, the fact remains that they are a completely new skeleton that was created specifically for them. Vulpera reuse a current skeleton. Both have new animations. Where is the bias, again?
This is why Vulpera should have been open to both factions, and Mecha-Gnomes should have also been released as Mecha-Goblins for the Horde, because lets face it, the goblins would love to have robo prosthetics.
In the meantime, the High Elf Threads will continue.
You don’t think it wouldn’t be unfair for the Horde to receive a reskin of a core race and the Alliance an entire new species unrelated to any of the core races to play with?
Uh no? I’ve always wanted allied races to be subraces, regardless of the core race’s faction. Allied races being new whole biological races completely unrelated to any of the core races never made sense.
Yes, because I’m not keeping count like a jealous sibling on Christmas morning. I like cool things and customization and I’m happy whenever we’re given that, regardless of faction.
If you can’t be bothered to play both factions, then that’s kind of on you.
Personally I don’t find it unfair because the Horde technically got a new race, I find it unfair because I fear mechagnomes won’t be anywhere near as popular as Vulpera. It’s the Zandalari and Kul Tiran situation again
