Horde gets a brand new race and Alliance gets

Maybe they are. They are inhumanly tall. Someone ran the maths and the Kul Tiran race is taller than the world record for NBA player lol

And again, biology doesn’t matter for playable races.

Where are you even getting this definition? Blizzard’s given definition of an Allied Race is one that the Horde or Alliance recruits to join their cause after earning their respect. Nothing more, nothing less.

Again, your argument is dumb.

I do play both factions, I have both a Horde and Alliance main. That doesn’t mean I can’t complain about what I think is unfair, like many Horde players complain about the bee mount being Alliance-exclusive is unfair.

So there’s no difference between core and allied races if that’s the official definition.

Nope, Blizz already said they’re simply Humans.

And those people complaining about the bee mount are almost as ridiculous as you are complaining about this. You keep spouting “but species”. That’s inconsequential. There was actual in-game work done on creating a completely new everything for Kul’tirans. Species is just a term that you’re using because it fits your narrative.

Who needs actual facts when you can just complain that you didn’t get a new “species”.

Well I’m sorry you think of me this way. I speak of species because they truly are a whole new race. If Blizz tomorrow decides to turn all allied races into skin options for core races, guess what? The Horde would have one extra playable race, because Vulpera are not Goblins.

Vulpera use the goblin skeleton. Remind me again which skeleton they used for Kul’tirans? Remind me which most likely took more work?

So yeah, you’re just whining about nothing then. Glad we figured this out together.

And yet are not Goblins.

And yet are Humans.

Skeleton is not the issue here - it’s the fact that they’re not a Goblin subrace.

Core Races are free with the game. Allied Races are unlockables. That’s the only difference.

Moving the bar higher up each time the argument is challenged…

I’m having war flashbacks…

I’m actually puzzled to see people don’t mind there is no difference between allied and core races apparently. If you like to grind to unlock new races instead of the old fashion, that’s on you.

They’re definitely using the Goblin rig but with some new animations. Still, yes it’s way better than tinkertoy Gnomes. Why couldn’t we have nearly fully robotic, or fully robotic (no I do NOT care one bit how they justify that) instead? I wanted Mechagnomes, these Junkergnomes are garbage.

There hasn’t been one since we got Kul’tirans, a completely unique race with completely new models and animations. You’re late to the party.

They’re not a new race. They’re Humans.

Humans aren’t ten foot giants.

That Kul Tirans are Humans isn’t something I made up - Blizz devs have said it themselves.

This might just be the reason I’d like to see them drop restrictions on grouping between the factions, going forward.

… So they don’t have to bother being ‘fair’ and make concessions anymore. So I can play the race I want to, in the content I want to, without feeling slighted that I’m playing the ‘inferior’ version.

The problem isn’t so much that the Alliance aren’t getting enough attention, it’s that they have no way to really engage with the interesting Horde-side bits without dropping their faction entirely.

He’s right, Blizz said they’re literally just humans

Either way, they’re completely unique.

Unique sure, but they don’t hold a candle to the Zandalari. Big humans aren’t exactly the “new and interesting” race everybody said they wanted

Unless they’re Vrykul.
