Horde druids forever doomed to be big and chunky forever

Same with alliance shamans.

well…

its either space goats or fat people…slim selection

Thing is, it is only Kul’tirans that can be those classes that are human. The shamen? Tidesage is their actual lore, but like it is with paladins, the mechanical equivalent for Tidesage is Shaman.

Druid? learned from a Drust, likely an off-shoot of some kind from Vrykul (the runes on Drust ruins leads me to this) and went from there.

When it comes to race/class combinations Blizzard can make lore up, especially for new races, as they want, and this is further driven by the idea that they have to try and fit things into set “classes” mechanic wise. It does not ignore the lore unless one is like “it does not fit my vision of the lore”, in which case I jsut have to say “it is not your story/game, it is Blizzard’s and they make the call” or along the lines of “Kul’tirans are human so we have human druids/shamen”.

I wouldn’t exactly call Trolls lanky frame “chunky”, I think that’s quite a bit of a stretch.

They are one of the leanest races available. Tall yes, but chunky no.

I actually like Tauren Druids. However I loathe Troll Druids so much that Druids lost their appeal. Blood Elf Druids would make Druids appeal to me again.

Man, remember when night elves looked this cool?

It was a pretty terrible day.

I’m pretty big and beefy. I don’t see a problem with this.

Why would you care about your character’s height? Druids spent most (if not all) of their time shape-shifted and you don’t even have to worry about transmog or anything.
Outdoor = Travel form
Combat = Cat, Bear, Ugly bird (don’t use glyph of stars since you dislike all those races), you can turn into a tree too!
Indoor = Cat / Bear for speed running

If you’re not constantly shape-shifting then you’re not playing druid right.

I’m not trying to convince you otherwise. You do you, but some of us don’t get the option to do us.

Blizz needs to make Nightborne Druids given they’re already NPCs in game.

Druids have been the most excluded class in the game since vanilla. We just kinda got used to it. I’m sorry you don’t fit in.

I do quite a bit of shape-shifting, especially as I started out primarily pvping as resto. However, I prefer to healing without tree form (hate running and jumping as a chunky dead tree), which means that while I spend a good bit of time as a cat, bear, cheetah, bird…there are still times when I am not shapeshifted and sport my transmog. When I am in the city or working on professions or mounted up in a zone without flying, I am not shapeshifted (sure cheetah form is handy when running in between quest mobs/items, but if you’re crossing the map, mounting up is just faster/efficient). Just because I am playing a class that can shapeshift does not mean that it is WRONG to not be shapeshifted 100% of my playtime. I don’t believe that playing a druid should mean that you cannot enjoy the character for the character itself. I don’t believe playing a druid means you shouldn’t enjoy transmog or hairstyles or aesthetics. It has nothing to do with “playing right or wrong.”
