No new druid option for horde until the Horde:Alliance druid ratio is even again.
(Oh and lore wise BE are awful druids (and in general wise))
Out of the horde races currently, besides the Pandas, they make the most sense to throw druid onto so… yes?

I’d be happy with mechagnome druid (transformers beastwars style). But no, it didnt happen.
Honestly it might be a good thing. The only thread I am even hanging onto as far as alliance goes is a decent druid race. Outside of that, the faction is dead to me.
Making aesthetically pleasing horde druid would just kill the alliance faction off even more.
Actually, if anything Tauren are too small.
Look to their original WC3 incarnation if you don’t believe me. The only reason why they’re as “normal” sized as they are is no one would play a race that couldn’t fit through 90% of all “normal” doors, and would probably be prohibited from using mounts because they already were mount sized.
Really, Tauren were introduced to the Horde to replace the Ogres, and their role was the heavy assault unit - their Alliance counterpart was a warhorse mounted, fully armored Knight.
But I guess I don’t see what choice Blizzard really had - shrink and “People”-ize the Tauren so they could operate in a Medium sized world, or… not have them as playable characters.
Don’t think that would have flown.
Amusingly if they were full-on robot Titan mechagnomes instead of Brave Little Toaster gnomes in a random junkpile, giving them druid would’ve made more sense lorewise than both OP’s desired druid races and half the classes mechagnomes can actually be.

Vulpera easily could have been druids if horde wasn’t already up 1 druid race on alliance. If vulpera got druids to make it so horde had 2 extra druid races than alliance, even I would be calling foul at that point
never understood why any race other than mechagnomes or undead were restricted from being druids, anybody can connect with nature and non-druids can enter the emerald dream/nightmare realm. i say undead and machine gnomes because forsaken are the opposite of life (death and undeath) and mechagnomes are as far removed from anything organic or living as one can get without being dead. those two i can see why reasonably, but what keeps OTHER races from connecting with nature short of goblins having the whole capitalism and industry schtick?
And they could have fixed that by giving mechagnomes mecha-druids, which would also have made them more appealing. But that would have been too cool, um, much work.
Mechagnome transformer ‘druids’ would have made me play a mechagnome 100%
I’m still waiting for a good Druid race that I prefer the aesthetics for, hopefully shadowlands brings more choices.
Blizzard gave the Zandalari troll druid’s the best looking forms in the game! It seems the Horde already have the better deal for Druids.

All the Druid Races are Big, Tall, and/or Fat.
Night Elves, Worgen, Kul Tiran, Tauren, Troll, HMTauren, Ztroll.
So your complaint acting like it’s just the Horde, it’s not.
I Still want Gnome Druids, Kitten, BabyBear, Baby Monkin, Shrubbery, Humming Bird, Pudú (Hand sized Deer from South America), and Otter.
More Blood Elves is the last thing the Horde needs. There were already enough to chase me to Alliance.
