Because there is zero reason not to try to win, while gaining rep. Is this seriously your mentality? To think you folks cannot figure out why you continually lose.
Most alliance do try to win, once theyâre pushed back to SHGY which is almost inevitable because of the horde map advantage they farm as much rep as they can.
I did AV exalted on my alt during the latest AV weekend I can tell you how literally every single game went.
Alliance would run to Stonehearth GY and just park there waiting for Horde to come to them. Ranged on top of the little bunkers things. Hunter traps. Mages Blizzarding,
Eventually some Horde mage figures out how to play the class and they frostnova an Alliance rez wave and Horde take it.
Itâs both, alliance will try to win, once horde use their map advantage alliance typically switch to rep farming.
The ironic thing is the guy was whining about alliance not being able to adapt to the horde strat. But they did, they figured out a way to maximize what rewards they could get instead of mindlessly rewarding horde with HKâs.
Horde has a shorter rush and wins if everything is equal. So they actually have the advantage there and defensively, but I mean, we couldnât just tell the horde to try harder, that would be silly, right?
Did you know that itâs possible for the situations around each sides strong and weak points to be different and create an imbalance in the advantage granted by each one, potentially totaling in an advantage for one side over the other?
I literally do not care why alliance are losing, I only care that people can so blatantly deny the map advantage even exists.
Well of course⌠if Alliance didnât rush to SHGY Horde would make it there before them.
What, you think a better strategy would be to hang back and wait til Horde takes it, giving them an easy choke to prevent any Alliance offense from ever happening?
Thatâs a mob for you. The actual tactic is for some people to guard SH graveyard and other people to assault SF or IB graveyards. Take a more southerly GY and advance while holding a spawn point.
The problem is not enough people go with the plan and so you have a bunch of people standing around at SH, some people going SF, some going Galvans, some going IBGY, some in towers, etc.
Those scattered people die and rez at SH, meanwhile the horde have pressed the people at SH to the flag. Now itâs even more difficult to get out of there and assault things. Still, some try but itâs less numbers than before.
Yes, that is precisely what I mean. There are no conceivable tactics beyond rushing to SH and standing there, and remaining back and allowing horde to take SH.

Here, let me put some serious effort into proving that something doesnât exist.
