Horde Can Finally Prove AV Is Balanced

With Wargames being confirmed, we can finally put the discussion to rest about AV. Horde v Horde games will finally either confirm or deny their theory that the map is balanced and Alliance players are bad.

I am excited to see all the reasons you will preemptively list below about how Horde losing 99% of Stormpike games still wouldn’t prove it.

They like to make excuses, so they’ll claim it’s that they’re unfamiliar with the Alliance side of things and not that it’s an inherent disadvantage.

This is an interesting idea. Looking forward to see what happens. I thought WGs was just WSG for some reason.

Still crying after all these months. I’m actually gonna laugh if Horde start winning ~50% of the war games starting from the north

So how do you join pug wargames again, I’m somewhat interested in that.

I mean, Alliance could win premade AV, but we’ll see how Horde pugs starting from the south handle it.

That will likely not happen. And I find it funny you’re pointing out us crying, when there are still Horde whining about the queues (that are their fault) and about Alliance premades (where there are just as many Horde premades).

If you’re talking about that orc warrior that makes a thread every week about premades, that’s called an outlier. Anyone with half a brain who rolled Horde knew queues would be bad. I haven’t done AV in like 3 months.

I have seen consistent threads about AV losses for months from tons of different Alliance. I haven’t seen half as many threads from Horde complaining about those 2 things combined.

No, not just him. He’s just the loudest. And of course we’re making complaints about it, we’d all rather have an hour or two queue but guaranteed wins.

You should see Horde whenever they’re actually losing. The amount of whining is hilarious, and it’s always been that way.

alliance could only win in premades versus pugs lol

Right, and we’re wondering if the so-called “great PvP players” on Horde can do any better. Since, y’know, you keep saying it’s a player issue.

So how do you plan on conducting this experiment?

How are you planning on regularly finding 80 people willing to do AV for no rep or honor? Nobody likes AV enough to do it for no reward.

Are the team compositions going to stay the same? Meaning the Alliance players playing from the Horde cave will consist of under 60 characters, afk leechers, and fishers, while the Horde team is full of people actually trying to win, and willing to keep trying even it takes an hour?

I mean… you are right… but good luck finding 80 horde willing to play it for the lulz. It doesn’t award honor or marks or anything.

Oh you know there will be a lot of people who will stage that kind of thing to prove their point.

“OK so we don’t turtle 100% on this one, just make it look good for the recording!”

I hope there’s at least a few people who are honest and truly test out how much contribution the BG makes to the win ratio, no matter what side it falls on.

And here’s your chance to prove you can win from the south side of the map with a pug. Get to it.

Not sure what your point is here. Reality is that the vast majority of Alliance in AV simply give up from the start and don’t even try. It’s irrelevant what the best-of-the-best PvPers do for the average player experience.

Horde vs horde AV would be at best 80/20 since they have equal racials and no paladins.

The reality is that AV is favoured towards the Horde, which is why no Ally does it without AV weekend or needing the rep.

That’s funny.

I don’t see many Alliance threads crying about premades every 10 seconds.

However I do see…

Horde wouldn’t be honest and use the same tactics they use in Classic live.

You’d have to enable honor and then you’d start seeing the salt flow.

and when alliance could premade you saw the opposite, despite it being true to Vanilla in some warped form because of cross realm queues.

So are horde better because they had to deal with premades and developed a better feel for AV at a much more oppressive level?

Do alliance just not do AV to win because their queues are shorter and their only interests in there are rep turn ins for gear?

Is the map an unbalanced mess that favors horde when played for objectives?

Who knows.
