I wish the queues will just randomly match make our Horde queues, like, just put us in a raid full of mages, we dont care what we have. Just whoever gets in the queue first will be served first. I just want to join an instant AV like alliance.

Nah. Your queues are long because there aren’t enough Alliance queuing to fill a match for every horde that is queuing. So, you end up waiting for existing matches to end and those Alliance to requeue.
As a warrior, i can confirm that ~60% of the horde are undead frost mages.
less alliance are queuing av queues on my server for av is up to 24m and its going to get longer.
in vanilla remember waiting 50m+ for an av and it only poped alot on av weekend.

Alliance AV right now is a dumpster full of dumpsters on fire. Once the last folks can max their rep, they will be bailing too. AV queues for Horde will not be getting better.
That’s not how it works. It is first come first serve. Class based sorting wasn’t even available until perhaps WoD.
Prob cuz there’s more UD on pvp servers than Alliance- too bad there’s not three factions, I’d still put money on forsaken getting queues though.
Something more must be happening that the first 40 people get into the raid. My husband and I have tried repeatedly to queue at the same time to get into the same AV only to have 2 AV’s pop within a minute of each other, but they are 2 different AV’s. The chances of us being the 40th and 41st person queued every time is very low.
horde is never going to get instant AV queues until our population queueing for AV is lower, it’s the sad truth. It doesn’t seem like blizz rly does any matchmaking at all in Classic, so it probably is just a simple first in first out queue system with some minor changes, like prioritizing existing AVs with deserters over a brand new instance
My theory is pretty much that the # of AV instances has gotta be roughly equal to the # of Alliance players queueing AV/40, which gives them instant queues (since the horde is waiting on them) and also allows them to make premades because they’re the one setting the number of instances. If 400 alliance are queueing for AV, then there will be Alterac Valley instances numbered 1 through 10 and Horde will just get slotted in until they’re capped. Anyone that wasn’t lucky enough to get placed into one of these AVs gets a 22 minute queue until games start ending and more Alliance start queueing again. The premade thing comes into play when a group of 40+ coordinated Ally all queue at roughly the same time- since the number of instances is limited by their faction, if they cause a surge like that there aren’t enough open slots to place them all into existing AVs so they straight up force a brand new instance to open, just for their premade
There’s really no way to give Horde instant queues, except mercenary mode or a complete balance in the faction population numbers (lol)

Queues don’t work like that.
Force whatever you want to the front of the line, but when Alliances line is 100 and yours is 1000 (don’t have the exact numbers) your queue is still going to be longer no matter what the combination is.
All you zug zugging fat faced pimple boyz are in the 2 hour line for cars the ride.

Meh, you guys are doing really well in pvp now from what iv noticed and I don’t have the drive to continue to play it anymore because the games become so stale and dull. You knew Horde had pvp advantages, My hammer of justice is worthless on Orcs and as a Pally and its incredibly frustrating how many times it gets resisted, that’s like a 1/3 of your population.
No sympathy on my part for you waiting in those queues and theyre only going to get longer, which sounds good to me.

the alliance arent Queing theres probably a total of 10 people queing on my server and im pretty sure they are suicidal or AFKing. But good luck with the que times =D
