Ally is only getting honour from the participation award they get at the end, only after they draw the game out for at least 30min to rack up as many HK’s as they want first though, we aren’t even getting most of the lieutenants because horde groups are smearing ibgy and galv with their OP cave position to keep it griefed non-stop.
Thanks blizzard, real fun game you’ve ‘allowed’ us to play, we’re so grateful for being ‘allowed’ to play this broken masterpiece that could be fixed with a few hours of work. Were you to be bothered that is.
It just isn’t fun for an entire faction, out of the 2 factions in the game. What is wrong with you to think that is OK?
What’s funny is that even in games where alliance dominate horde in HK’s because they actually are playing better they typically still end up losing because of the horde map adavantage.
Salty take as usual. The historical take has nothing to do with anything because not a single person on here has the same memory of what av looked like back then.
It was literally the same map, NPCs, Classes, Racials, etc, and documented posts by blues regarding the alliance win rates during that period. But hey, by all means continue to blow off the actual history of the BG.
This is about as relevant as saying MC in vanilla took 8 hours, so it must be difficult in classic. We’re about to see AQ unlock and I guarentee you that using how difficult it was in vanilla is not going to be accurate there either.
People change, strategies develop, players are overall better at the game and understand how to get more out of their class.
It’s a great deflection if you don’t think about it too hard, though. Nice and low effort.
Why is Vanilla brought up? You could premade in Vanilla and that was removed in Classic.
People were getting owned by Vael in BWL and MC/BWL are on farm mode in Classic, far different from Vanilla. Players are way better, strats have been figured out. Not sure why the concept is alien to people.
What’s even funnier is that back in vanilla horde would complain Alliance had the map advantage in AV. What’s even funnier than that is even if they changed the map because the Alliance think it’s unfair, Alliance would still lose 98% of the matches instead of 99%.
He has no point. Especially since he knows Alliance won AV in Vanilla far more frequently than Horde. Yet, with the same map in Classic they can’t. At least not without their pre-mades. But they don’t want to admit that because it’s much easier to blame the map.
I will never understand people like you guys who come here to defend AV. Alliance lose 99% of the time, Horde have 2 hr queues. It’s lose-lose for both sides.
A BG is supposed to give both teams an equal shot at winning right out of the gates. Put 40 random people in a vacuum and one side isn’t supposed to win 99% of the time. It’s mind-boggling how you fail to understand that concept.
Honestly it’s a two fold problem. The first is the map, no it’s not screwed so bad it would be 99% for horde but it definitely favors them (ie) premade a huge advantage for alliance didn’t win more then 65% of the time. (Yes I know there were top end premade that won 100% but that’s not the average one). I would guess if map was the only problem horde would probably win 4 of 5 games about 80%. However because ally have insta quest and rankers can choose which bgs to do and dont have to que all of them none of the serious players participate. So you have a map disadvantage and a skill/gear disadvantage as those who are good at pvp ally side refuse to play AV.
I’m sorry but I’ve been in avs since yesterday that alliance have won. The win was mostly due to the slow response of the horde to stop pushing north and go back and get ibgy. But the alliance won never the less and it just didn’t happen in 1 bg I had 3 losses yesterday our of the 6 I played.
So good job to those alliance teams. Early morning alliance teams they lose and just give up
