Hoping 11.1 MM slaps

What are you talking about, they removed lone wolf because lone wolf is now the key\main design of MM and is baked in by default and pet is removed.

What is my “Weak knee imagination” you are talking about? MM needed a rework for a while and they finally did it. Why are you so surprised they didnt design MM around pets when BM is already that.

If anything tinker will be a pet like spec since they removed pets from MM not the other way around.

But we’ve been through this: they play the endgames that matter. They’re the citizenship, with the right to representation and voting. The noncitizens can go eat “cake” :poop:.

If this rework is needed for MM to have REPRESENTATION in M+, then that’s what goes. Casuals will keep playing it like it doesn’t matter and like they themselves don’t matter.

You really fancy yourself some sort of savant don’t you? I must be conversing with the best hunter in the world. Making up your own name with buffing Aimed Shot with Streamline must have been tough. Take a break. You are going to hard.

MM already plays differently then the other two specs. Just saying.

People have been denying all ways to Sunday that this is NOT the impetus behind the change. But I’m beginning to suspect that it actually is.

I’d love to see stats on the number of MM raiders playing at the M+ competitive tier versus the number of casual MM players who just like roaming the fields of Azeroth with their trusty pet by their side. You know – the original, classic vision of a hunter. Like the dwarf in the original cinematic …

THis rework wasn’t needed .

What was needed is just removing lust from pets so that MM hunters wouldn’t have to worry about having pets for lust in M+ .

Now giving them a spell in the spec tree for lust like in the ptr isn’t a bad idea but it should of been made a over all class spell for all 3 specs.

Also even in M+ or say even raids of any level are MM hunters called on that often if they are in a group to be the ones that lust when Shamans , Mages and Evokers can do the same ?

Lock and Load needs a % buff with the increase to Aimed shot cast time. It maths out at 1 proc every 1.5 mins and that’s if you are lucky, there were stretches where I went over 2 mins with no L&L proc. This needs more attention on the PTR Feedback thread so it doesn’t get lost in the whinging pet posts.

The only thing that slaps is my wife when I play too much WoW. But then I show her my cute pets and she says sorry. I allow it because being a hunter is what it’s all about. We’re the hero azeroth needs, not the one it deserves

I guess I’m not really worried about the changes as much as others as I enjoy all three specs so swapping to a different spec like BM with beefy pets to do content doesn’t really bother me much. I’m just glad to have the versatility of the class that I can do that if needed.

The only thing I’m worried about is aimed shot cast time and proc’s like LNL. The cast time can be justified if the damage is there…however I see mechanics in M+ and raid being a nightmare for the spec.

Agreed, if you do the rotation wrong. You should hardly ever cast an aimed without streamline.

Have you played on PTR? You get Streamline a lot, Aimed Shot is typically 1.5s with 1 stack, 0.9s with 2 stacks. Lock and Load is indirectly nerfed due to less Auto Shots, which sucks and should be adjusted.

Against a single target it felt slower, not enough procs. AoE was much more fluid.

Get rid of Outlaw and make it a Ranger

What are you talking about? You don’t understand the point? OK. Let me elaborate. Lone Wolf is NO PET, It is anti-hunter-fantasy so they say, So they added a fake pet (which makes them not a Lone Wolf by concept) in the form of an eagle with benefits (probably so we wouldn’t miss Lone Wolf). There is NO MORE LONE WOLF by definition. Removed our real pets that we worked so hard to collect. Now they see the error of their ways and put them back. Again, there is no more Lone Wolf. You are erred when you say it “is baked in” n so many levels. lol

I was just on ptr and my AS were staying at 2 seconds with both procs, 3 seconds with none. It also felt like the damage was lower on AS, even with the talents to boost damage. It feels incredibly slow now to me. Trueshot was not doing anything to AS cast time and felt awful.

Spoilers. BM is king again baby.

without more iteration most people are probably gonna think MM just feels worse in 11.1.

seems like all we got was a random eagle proc and a worse trueshot

I am amazed that people in these forums are still fighting about OPINIONS and PERCEPTIONS… when will you guys grow up and accept that different players/people have different opinions/perceptions?

There is no right or wrong, and it’s just a game. So relax and have fun.

Of course. So long as MM and SV have to be stuck in this felhole of a house, BM will always be.

Just tried out my MM hunter today to check out the latest talents.

I appreciate being able to keep my tanking pet out if I want to; thanx blizz for putting that option back. I noticed my hunter’s abilities maintained the same base damage whether the pet was out or not.

Otherwise, as a solo player it didn’t feel too bad at all. I copied over at 595 and things were melting as fast or faster than on live.

My personal opinion;

I think I’m good.
