More people have quit over not having RDF than people have from the token introduction. I also have a firm belief that the vast majority of people “quitting” over the token are just posturing.

I’m not yelling about anything. Just participating in a conversation. I’ve made clear I left Wrath after doing Yogg 0 and Algalon. Wrath is retail and I’m not a fan so I choose not to play it.
All p2w games make this claim, nobody buys it.

I would respond to this but I think most people reading the forums realise that anyone who makes claims they are successful on the internet are generally unemployed.
im on board with this 100%. They use greed as a guise for dealing with RMT when only a small fraction of the population does it. then they release the coin at such an exorbitantly high value that it ruins the in game market. Half of wow classic players didnt even have 15k! now they can swipe their credit card and have gold cap for a few hundred bucks. great decision!

Anything that can be earned in a GDKP or with purchased gold, can be done without doing either.
It takes more time, and it takes (arguably) more skill, but it 100% can still be done.

I don’t disagree. I’m making the assertion that all p2w games say this same thing. Many players, including myself, do not like playing p2w games where a swipe of a card tips the scales in one person’s favor. It’s a preference.
I’m not sure if you are attempting an insult or what, but you can doubt all you want. I’m participating in this conversation to voice my opinion that p2w does not belong in era or seasons. Also, I’m honestly surprised that Blizz is desperate enough at this point to add this to Wrath.

I hate saying this, but blizzard staff don’t care, we’re just dollar signs to them, quit or leave, they won’t care, they still make money, main reason I’m sticking around to watch it all come crashing down before cata gets released

Myself. My friends stopped playing, my guild is dead (90% of the time I’m the only one on), sister guilds are reporting the same thing with the few members that they have online. Three of my friends didn’t even purchase it to start with because they saw the blizzard post about no RDF. I tried talking them into coming back but they won’t budge.
